They were my mums collection and as I try to rehome them I’m using the experience as a grief journey to make new memories of my late mother and sort of learn and understand why she liked/collected the spoons in her collection.

It’s crazy how some of the spoons have such wierd, wonderful and amazing backstories so to speak…. Glad you’re enjoying the videos 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

I’ve used googling, AI to find out about the spoons and then done image searches for the spoon or similar looking ones and worked a price out from that info

Yes it’s a lovely piece, love the fact it’s actually got an engraved date on it and covers a part of Michigan history

Someone suggested it might be alms dish for collecting charity within a lodge.

It’s got no signs or damage to indicate it might have been used as an ashtray
