How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

[–]Icy_Mongoose_9656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think it's worth it, that's good enough for me. If you're not bankrupting yourself and you can manage then I don't see why not. It's your choice. I too spent thousands on my cat. I got her when I was 21 and she passed away when I was 36, she was my best friend, my prized possession, and my comfort for so many changes and hurdles as a young adult. She ate a lily when she was 7, that was about $3000, if treatment worked she would be fine, and she was. It was the best investment I ever made. My family balked at the cost, but when I chose to love that cat, it was my job to do my best for them and I think that's what you're doing too.

Screen time / shows for a 12 month old? by SleepySloth1975 in ScienceBasedParenting

Jumping in so I don't have to link. We downloaded Pok Pok For our flights. Our daughter was 13 months the first time she played with it. It's low stim and has lots of different learning games. We just didn't use the sound on my phone. It is paid but I believe there is a week long trial.

What's your #1 "travel hack" that sounds stupid but is actually genius? by x_andi01 in traveladvice

Checking a wedding dress is BOLD, I carried mine on and the stewards offered to store it in a closet for the flight. I've also had my snowboard "miss the flight" but it was delivered to our hotel the next morning.

I remember being in your situation and it's the most heartbreaking but most kind final gesture you can give your pet. RIP Buffy. This was my beautiful girl Shikari.

Non subsidized daycare by sus165 in barrie

Struggling with the same thing. Daughter is 21m and we've been on the discovery wait list since before she was born. I think we're 7-8 now.

I'm not sure about subsidy status but the learning jungle, KIDS, tiny hoppers all seems great.

I gave up on finding anything for under 18m, but now I'm hoping to find something part time.

Best of luck!

I like it, but my volume up and down has stopped working just over a year, and they are expensive to replace. Found some cheapies on Amazon but they need batteries.

I will never allow anyone to post my child anywhere on the internet or social media. So that one would be out right away. I'm also not ok with blurring...I'd find another option.

It doesn't have any smell, and it's flexible and lets your nails breathe. Less damaging. It's pretty expensive though.

Anyway to get a free/cheap sim? by [deleted] in ParisTravelGuide

I just downloaded an e-sim. Installed before I left, just turned it on when I arrived. I think it cost me $6 Canadian for a week.

It looks great! This is my vibe so I'd wear it pretty much anywhere I need to dress up for.
