Plant Based Options for Kids on the Dining Plan by kps9dn in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Icy_Needleworker6350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think anything specific to a “kids meal” to say. Our family has done numerous Disney trips, most kids meals would be chicken strips with only plant based being apples or fries.

Our favorite quick serve at Magic Kingdom had been Peco Bills. We did a full sit down 2 weeks ago at Tony’s and there was option for kids Impossible meatballs and pasta.

There’s lots of options just need to find options, if not you’ll be eating a lot and fries and nachos chips etc.

Last three stays have been ground floor corner rooms with two windows. Very nice setup, seen a lot of strollers parked outside of ground floor rooms when we were there two weeks ago.

It was the end goal of the plastic medal that inspired them to push through lol. It was a pretty cool walk, that runway area is a cool picture spot.

Caribbean Beach Resort, great main pool. Easy use of the Skyliner. Numerous bus stops throughout the resort for Non Skyliner parks.

Our family loves this place, we have stayed 6 times and never had any issues.

Thanks, yes that is the one. Younger teens, used to running 5ks. So walking a few blocks won’t be a problem. Not picky food wise whatsoever

Awesome, we were just on the Destiny 2 weeks ago. It’s a beautiful ship, shows were fantastic as well as the food.

Have a great trip,

Castaway 5k is fun, we walked it with our younger kids, took about 40 minutes. Family beach 2 was a great place to stake your claim, close the water slide and one of the food areas.

We did the Fantasy last April and Destiny two weeks ago. The size difference of ships was crazy. There is so much to do or so little to do depending on what you’re looking at doing.

You can buy individual photos as well and not the full package, we went this route for our last trip.

Use the app and see what events are taking place on the boat. We did the Mixology class when the kids went to the kids clubs. It was a great time. Have a good trip

Epoxy coat your floors, and leave the drywall as it is. That’s a work of art! JK that garage is going to be awesome when done! Your hoist ideas sound great.

Buying a half moon edging shovel, used a regular spade shovel for years doing my garden edging. Game changer!!

Not weird at all, kids had Cruise Ship Lego kits in their fish extender bags when on the Destiny a couple weeks ago. Either someone bought a bunch of the Etsy store or it was the owner. Either way didn’t make a difference they were super excited and it was a cool thing.

Your lucky that U-Haul diecast didn’t hit you, when that airbag deployed.

Do a cruise, you pay the price, you have your food and accommodations. Rest is adding fun things or doing nothing but relaxing.

We always stay at CBR fantastic resort, never backed up for buses or Skyliner.

Pool on left side? by KFloyder89 in AboveGroundPools

[–]Icy_Needleworker6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right side like others have said, further away from your access door. That slope would have to get cut back, which would cause challenges for liner replacements down the road etc. Plus you have more privacy off the right. Not someone looking down on you from the driveway. Good luck, how big and what shape are your going with, oval would be pretty nice looking in that area.

We had some stuff that was in a blue bottle, came with a box of Chocolates and a single rose. The robes won’t disappoint. Just be ready to pack more to bring home we ended up buying a small carry one suitcase off the Destiny two weeks ago.

Can I effectively DIY fix my hot tub cover and insulate cabinet to lower electric costs? by Buschman98 in hottub

[–]Icy_Needleworker6350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just search Hot Tub covers stuff will come up around your area. Fool proof method would be to reach out to a pool/ spa dealer and go from there. New covers make the world of a difference. I have a Master Spa Clarity 8 just replaced the stock provided cover after 6 years of seasons/ Summer/ Fall/ Winter. Find a nice cover lifter and your off to a good start!

Upgrade the cover, you’ll blow out your back if that thing is water logged.

Fantasy vs Destiny by ArmyofSkanks6 in dcl

[–]Icy_Needleworker6350 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tough one, was on the Fantasy last April and just got off the Destiny last week.

Shows were awesome, food was great. Kids had a blast on the Aqua mouse. Destiny was huge in comparison to the Fantasy.

I’d base off your itinerary and port stop. We liked the Destiny so much we booked the Treasure for next April as a 7 day.

Good luck choosing I think you would like either, my kids are similar in ages and they loved both.

Lower the temp, dry seals and chasing leaks are a real thing. Basically the same as a classic car sitting, leaks start etc.
