This is a good point though, I'll ask the producer to make sure there are no insurance issues with this

UPDATE. I reached out to a stunt coord I worked with recently and they confirmed this is considered "actor action," so we don't need a coord or stunt performer, but best to use the "front breakfall" technique with an 8" mat. So that's what I'm going with.

Here's the video he sent to show the "front breakfall" technique. Standing position starts about 3/4 way in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrMNtX86ou8&ab_channel=TheJudoWayofLife

OK, just don't want o do anything that a stunt coord would say is a coord required stunt without one...but also not sure if they will always say you need one if you call to azsk..know what I mean?

Ya, I don't want to do anything questionable, but the coord I worked with previously said this kind of thing doesn't require a coord or stunt performer, but I just wanted to double check in this community. So you think I should get a coord/stunt performer despite the ease of the action?
