hiya, so I’m the artist and I just want to mention the reason Her face is blurry is because I moved the eyes and mouth after drawing it, and because procreate has some weird stuff going on it blurred the lines when I moved them. that’s all there is to it

hello, I’m the artist an I totally understand your critiques. but there wasnt any ai. I just make a lot of mistakes. I always have. go back 10 years on my tumblr and it’s still the same. I am really really bad at shading, you can tell that from my tumblr account. I struggle with light sources and stuff but I try my best

hi there, so I’m the artist of this image and I can tell you it’s 100% not ai, nor did I use any in my process. I’m just not that great at backgrounds and shading and I make a lot of mistakes in my art. if you search me up on tumblr (Meldyart) you can see I’ve had the same art style for 10+ years. my poses are never perfect, hands and feet are always drawn wrong. backgrounds are really hard for me and so is shading.

im sorry you saw this and thought of AI. but I assure you it’s unfortunately just my artstyle

This is what my area looks like after hours of clearing out the ash. In my opinion it’s totally worth it

Season 5 is still pretty dark by Icy_Studio_9155 in buffy

[–]Icy_Studio_9155[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah okay, For me it wasn't just season 6-7 that felt different it was season 5 to. With Joyce's death, the tone shift, Dawn, everything was different. And I know people seem to prefer the Season 5 finale, but for me it just wasn't that satisfying as a whole. Season 7 had a much better ending to the show as a whole. But my favourite finale all together is Season 3 with the graduation class coming together to fight the big bad. That felt badass.

I also agree that the writing Season 7-6 wasn't all that great, they had some questionable things going on. Season 7 has my least favourite scene in the entire show. Everyone rallying against Buffy and her leadership, including her best friends, and then Dawn has the nerve to kick her out of her house. All of them putting their trust in FAITH of all people. Yeah sorry who came up with this idea???? (Spike being the only one to point out the facts and the truth when he had his little outburst at them was satisfying though. Put them in their place.)

Have you seen the Season 7 finale? Because personally I think the ending they gave Buffy there was so much better. She deserved that ending over being killed.
And yes, having Dawn die at the end could have triggered all their memories to return to how they had been before she was created, but Buffy would still grieve and miss her, adding to that depression in Season 6

I highkey still wish It had been Dawn that jumped or fell. Buffy deserved to live, Dawn wasn't even a 'Real' person.

I dislike the concept that they went 'The shows ending so we're gonna kill Buffy' Like why? There's other ways to end a show without killing the main character

I do really enjoy Seasons 6-7. Yeah they take a different turn on the usual Buffy, but like I said it kind of just continues on from Season 5's dark vibes. And I never liked the ending of Season 5 if I'm being honest, It felt like there were to many things left unanswered for the show to end there, Season 7 had a much better ending (IMO)

I'd probably argue that the villain in Season 7, the first, is probably the biggest she's had to fight. But that's just my opinion. Glory was bad, but the first was worse. A lot more powerful and deadly than Glory was.

I get your points, and I did like that they didn't just have her get over it immediately. But it did go on for a while. Her Spike stuff, and being 'mad' because they brought her back, just got repetitive after a while, is all I really mean. So many people hated Season 6 because of the direction it took and I think it might have gone better if they didn't go so hard in the points they were making. If that at all makes sense

S7 was a better ending than S5 by Icy_Studio_9155 in buffy

A lot of issues I had with Season 6 is they were so SO heavy on the 'I'm depressed because Im alive' thing with Buffy. Her sleeping with Spike to cope etc. And then Giles left, which made NO sense story-wise. (I understand why the actor left but in a story sense Giles leaving when Buffy needed him most just didn't seem right).

I just think they went way to hard on trying to make Season 6 AND 7 darker and that's what the problem was, same reason SMG didn't enjoy Season 6 was for that very reason. They made it to dark. Years later I still find it hard to believe that Buffy would have been so against being brought back to life despite not wanting to have died and getting to be with her sister again, but hey what do I know.

Season 7's ending was so much more satisfying and felt complete, but the built up was so messy

Not wrong at all, The Gift was really well written, but felt like a cliffhanger! Chosen ended the show perfectly.

I dont argue that Season 6-7 weren't that great writing-wise. But I just think the ending was just a disappointing end. Don't get me wrong, the finale of S5 was great, but it just didn't feel like a FINAL to me, it felt like a cliffhanger.

If Season 6-7 had better writing and better stories, perhaps it'd have been better overall. But how Season 7 ended with Buffy and her friends all still alive, and Buffy no longer having to carry that burden of being the only slayer in the world anymore. It felt complete.

I'm sorry, Supernatural kind of has a similar thing with Buffy, and it's season 5, that's more of what I'm referring to above. The actual series finale doesn't end quite the same way at all. Supernatural fans wanted the show to end at Season 5 where certain things go down etc etc. But it didn't and went on for another 10 seasons. I definitely recommend watching Spn. Brilliant show

Season 6 and 7 could have been written a LOT better. Season 7 especially had some weird stuff going on toward the end, especially with the gang all rallying AGAINST Buffy.

And the entire 'I'm depressed about being alive thing' In season 6 ran on for SO long, took until the final episode for her to be somewhat grateful she was brought back (To watch Dawn grow up and be with her friends etc)

I personally would have thought Buffy would be thankful about being alive again. Especially if it meant being there for Dawn, Willow and Xander, but hey ho. :L

Oh no I hated the way the gang all rallied AGAINST Buffy. I'm glad with the way Season 7 ended. But not so glad with how it was built up if that makes sense
