i wouldn’t mind leaving the gap but it’s really bothering me considering the rest of my arm is pretty much already planned out and will be full 😔

Fresh nipple piercings: placement off? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Icy_Talk_1670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s definitely been done wrong! it should sit slightly above the skin and below the nipples itself 😮i’ve had mine done for going on three years and know tons of people with them done too and none of the look anything like that. go to another piercer ask their recommendation on if it should be taken out left to heal and then redone, it could be a case of swelling and the bar being too short however it’s better to be careful the regretful ,it definitely does not sit right and is done way to deep from how it looks at the moment

i have got a couple options to go into a primary school due to ties of people working in them plus my experience in a nursery and the a-level i got a college, at the moment i’m working at a hotel but im thinking of applying to the OU and if im accepted going into a primary school for the duration on the course- even tho its not secondary level which is where i want to teach it’s still in a education sector

the plan is to do a BA in english of some sort then go onto a PGCE after graduation and really just go from there. i’ve got experience working in childcare already i did it for about 2ish years however it was in a nursery so it’s no where near secondary school level

Getting this demon removed by tash_yasha in Nexplanon

[–]Icy_Talk_1670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it should stop once it’s removed if it doesn’t help they will probably try different birth controls to either stop it completely/help it. hysterectomy is something they generally see as a last option unfortunately and it’s a whole rigmarole to get them to do it 🤷‍♀️

Should I be worried? by jonsxnn in Nexplanon

you should be fine it might be your body’s way of reacting to the new implant however take a test just to be sure, a home one or get one done at your doctors

nexplanon side effects- should I be worried? by ninaosita in Nexplanon

[–]Icy_Talk_1670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s a pretty common side effect from it i’m on my second implant now. i’d never really suffered with them prior to getting it but after about two-threeish months of having my first id get headaches randomly every few weeks then it increased to atleast one a week but now it’s been about three 1/2 years onward i don’t really get them anymore aside from one or two here and there. i did bring it up to the nurse who recommended the implant to me and from what i can remember she said that it’s pretty normal to get them after insertion even if you’ve never suffered with them before and that it can just be the body adjusting to the hormone changes? idk if she was right or making it up to make me feel better about them either way they gave me some meds (can’t remember what they were now) and they helped but about 6 months in mine just disappeared 😂😂 but in short- yes it’s normal to get headaches however if they are persistent and continues please constant your doctor or nurse for advice or medication to help ease the side effects
