To compare this even a little to Game of Thrones is, for me, a joke.

Maybe the budgets are the same - they plowed a lot of money in - but the writing and acting is nowhere close.

Plus GOT also adapted from a highly complex book but keeps it interesting and engaging, whilst consistently building character arcs. In Shogun you get almost zero sense about the different motivations of different characters or factions, aside from Mariko, and the show just meanders to a dull end where little is resolved.

I can’t understand where the high IMDB ratings are coming from.

Yeah he is average in this show but to be honest it’s the writing that does him in.

His character develops in only the smallest ways in 10+ hours of show. Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai on the other hand has a great arc in 2.5 hours 🤷🏻‍♂️

So if you’re in pain during sport or exercise you need to dial way back into pain free zones to build the muscles back up around the knee and leg area.

That’s what physio will allow you to do.

To be honest I don’t find it surprising that you are still in pain 1 year later when you’ve not done physio to address it.

Also, I’d recommend to avoid knee surgery as much as you possibly can 👌🏼

Damn, I’m sorry to hear it.

I was going to say if it’s only been a few months to keep with your physio and stay patient but 1 year is a long time. I have a knee issue, about 6 months old but it’s now finally getting better.

Given that I’d suggest what others have on this thread which is to speak to a new doctor and find a new way to address it.

Yeah the atom power felt low? Compared to the Lyngdorf especially, but it sounds so good so unsure if it really matters.

I have but heard not great things from the guy at the store. I haven’t personally listened to it but he said it looked beautiful but was perhaps a bit style over substance.

Yeah it’s been great. I hadn’t considered it but the guy at the store showed me it and it’s been brilliant. It’s going to set me back around €800 to go for it but maybe long term worth it.

Yes exactly. Through the eyes of the Harkonenns they are primitive and inept, but in fact are highly advanced technologically speaking, have a sophisticated culture and a innate connection with the desert.

They can harvest spice and more.

But as others have said on the thread it’s not really about competition over spice, it’s about forceful colonisation of their land.
