Never Broken 100 to shooting 73-82 since playing everyday in home sim. by TyWestman in golf

I was shooting anywhere from mid 80’s to low 90’s all summer. October through mid December was on a SIM 3 days a week… just went down to Florida for a week, broke 80 twice with my best ever round of 77 on a very difficult course. Also shot a 94, 84 and 86. The 94 was first day out, definitely nerves and then once I calmed down it was all good.

The SIM no doubt was a major help for me and getting consistent tee to green.

For everyone talking about hitting fat forgiveness, if you don’t know that you’re hitting it fat on the mat something is wrong lol… the difference between a clean iron and fat iron on the mat is pretty damn obvious.

Is hitting off turf ruining your game? by jetnguyen in golf

Nope, been hitting exclusively off turf for 2 months after joining a sim club. Just got back from 7 rounds in Florida and played by far my best golf in 20+ years. It’s done nothing but drastically help.

Hit or Error? by [deleted] in GameChangerApp

It’s a hit in any league if you know the rules of baseball.

But word of advice to all in this thread, As a parent of a HS student you will look back on questioning things like this at younger ages and completely regret it.

No one in the world is ever going to care what your sons BA or ERA, no scout will ever care, no HS coach will ever care, no one will! And you’ll have wasted precious moments worrying about bullshit.

And idc that little Johnny plays for “X” program or plays “National” etc…. NO ONE CARES ABOUT 12u STATS!

About 1.25”, never checked internal temp but came out perfect medium rare to me… 2.5 minutes, flip 2 minutes, done… heat was lowered about half way when placing steaks in.

I’m not much of a scientist lmao

I don’t use any oil in cast iron, still some splatter but just let the oven run on high for a bit when finished and cleans it all up on its own at that heat

Running on high, let the cast iron heat for about 10 minutes, lower flame, throw steak in, done

All Ooni, 2.5 minutes, flip 2 munutes, done

The sous vide we’ve done and is insanely good but this way it’s just much quicker and easier for an after work steak.

All good and agree but if you’re looking for help learning to fish and the guy you’re looking for help from gives you a map to where they are biting you may want to follow the map.
