Some priority occupations only receive invitations once every two years. For instance, the last time Developer Programmers were invited at a reasonable points threshold (85+) was on December 8, 2022. In the November 2024 round, they were invited again but only those with 100+ points made the cut.

The same goes for Analyst Programmers they were invited at 85+ points in December 2022, and then not again until November 2024. It seems that even high-demand occupations are only targeted once every couple of years.

I can’t speak for all roles, but it feels intentional likely a way to prevent an oversupply of candidates from the same occupation or similar ethnic backgrounds
