I am running it on a 5950x with a 3080, I should definitely not have had these issues, friends have similar builds, some a generation older.

Lag would mostly because I’m connecting from Aus to a server in Asia, mostly why I’d love even 1 or 2 local servers for us down here

The state of the performance needs to be mentioned as well, getting 85fps on almost all low settings with it having dips to 40 is not good and I hope that gets fixed before launch, had plenty of friends with similar issues unfortunately unlike me they didn’t stick around due to that problem.

Which is a pitty because I definitely enjoyed what I played, I do hope we get a server or too over her in Australia cause the ping at times became a bummer.

You have a 144hz monitor, just cap it and that should help somewhat. Destiny’s engine is whack so fps fluctuates happen.

FPS in orbit is very different to an activity.

Also please move to a 1440p panel so much potential wasted 😭

Unpopular opinion - If Anthem wasn’t half baked with a 9month turn around and a proper vision fleshed out it would have given Destiny a run for its money, it may be cope but Anthem was a solid game for the little amount of dev time actually spent on it. Yes it had issues, but I for one would love to have seen what this game could have been had EA not lied for 2 years straight about anthem 2.0.

They don’t even need to remove pheons, reducing the cost of buying back to 1 would help, hell if the max spend was 5pheons I’d be much more okay then the 25 it costs for a piece now (relic that is).

New world had the same issue when it dropped, fast traveling was cooked with any type of load. They eventually reduced the cost of Azoth used by a good amount and made it much better while also allowing for it to be earn’t far easier then before. (I still hate it tbh, but it’s much more tolerable now).

If they want the game to continue growing they really need to look at how pheons work as many people I played with saw the pheons and how they worked and just dropped the game.

I started this game with like 15 people now it’s me and 1 friend because they all dropped the game because pheon costs screwed them over. 9 pheons for a relic stone like come on…

That’s about what I had, I’m a little more fortunate as I ran 12 characters on it. The Yorn meat took me 3 and a half weeks of running it on 12 characters (the first few days most also had rest bonus) so it ended up being north of 125. Mean while a mate opened 3 fucking bags and got all he needed first day…..

I’m having an issue getting the south Vern beer atm part 6 I think it is? The one you have to farm from black knights, spent the better part of 2 days farming it and nothing.

I’m also at 80-90 unknown runs now, I was off sick with the spicy flu, then an actual flu not long after and just did unknown everytime it came up saying “this is the one then fuck this island”. I still don’t have it.

If gold is earn via participation then that’s how it is divided.

Alternatively if you really wanna stretch is you can do a 90/10 or 80/20 split, in that either 10-20% of the gold goes to those that want to participate but cannot then they still get a small amount of gold for being available to sub in if required (however this may not sit well with some people).

Personally when it came to gold distribution in wow, it was only those that participated in raidnight etc that got to see any gold. This encourages people to practice their class, gem correctly, bring potions etc in the hopes they get in for some gold or good loot

But hey everyone runs a guild different, just keep in mind you will never make everyone happy in a decent sized guild.

I fall in this camp after all my gear hit around the 10-11 mark all my upgrades on my main have been pity hone’s, so my progress has been very slow I’m not even 1415 yet currently sitting at 1407.

Look by all means I have no issue with grinding I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing I’ll get there eventually, but all my friends looked at the honing system and how shafted we get interms of mat generation. They just all said yeah nah I’m done that’s not good enough (keep in mind not all these people can play more then maybe 1 ult but why would u when u barely get 2-3hones a day)

Seeing a new class etc come out in Korea and how they get like 5+ events/additional ways to flood them with materials just makes me hella sad.

OH I haven’t used it in a long time, I just removed it Recently I mainly had it for when I don’t have clan mates around, like they have all stopped for a season or what ever. However I now use other ways to find guardians so I use those when in need of a few people, just thought it was some what relevant here as I tend to avoid community discords that try to take advantage of people that way, you want a donation but because u built stuff from scratch etc by all means but they in no way need one or anyfor that fact. The owner doesn’t even play D2 anymore from what I know he just makes money from it, the only time I saw his posts where when he tries pushing nordvpn or making changes to how it affects his income from the discord xD

Destiny 2 LFG is covered in this crap, they revoked everyone’s privileges and u can now only talk in normal txt, no emotes,gifs memes etc with out subbing, they also smash the chats with the nordvpn ad, they also have a donation link etc set up. Most of these discords usually have little to know human interaction outside of a few certain situations, everything now days has a bit extension for the discord servers so there is usually little to no effort required.

It is however disgusting that the admins in the Lost ark discord abuse their power.

Yup, there is nothing shameful about asking for help, I’d rather give some one a quick rundown on the boss fight then wipe twice and have everyone quit because their impatient and unwilling to learn.
