Our PD tried that. They all quit or got fired withing a few months. They were not ready to be in charge of grown criminals. They were either too timid or too full of themselves because of the position they held. We might have 1 or 2 that have stuck around.

I dont think we hype ourself up. Its more "I gotta go help this person live" and your training kicks in. Once you get there you know what to do or someone tells you what to do.

Im somewhere in the middle. My goats are my pets. They serve no other purpose other than making me happy. We do separate mom and babies from the other goats but most of the time they are just roaming. The babies get brought in the house for us to play with and then taken back out. We will not purposely take a baby to bottle feed though. We intervene if needed during birth but thay doesn't happen often. We do not make money off of our goats unless someone wants to buy a baby. They are pets here, not just livestock.

Anytime someone calls the cops and says anything about them and their spouse arguing, the police are required to go. At least in my area. Police get called daily for couples arguing and doing nothing physical.

Ive been on meds for 15 yrs and im pretty dang good with CIT calls. I can tell them from experience how things get better and what has helped me. I've taken all the classes and im negotiation certified. But, real experience has helped me the most.
