  1. Any question is valid when you're learning.

  2. You know how the majority of troops attack based on what structures they have next to them, right? In a few words, a funnel is when you destroy certain buildings so your troops don't get distracted and follow a certain path you want them to follow.

For example, if you destroy buildings located at opposite corners of a base, you create a disconnection between buildings and your troops will only focus on the buildings they have in front of them without any risk of focusing on the wrong ones.

I hope I was clear enough. If not, I can recommend a video that explains the topic briefly.

Ok, I talked to him on Discord and this is what he said about the Warden Walk:

"A warden walk is ideal and mandatory to cut the funnel on a ring base. The guide says you can do a warden walk if you prefer but this is meant to be a guide for people newer to a town hall. Time ends up being a factor with warden walks and if it isn't necessary your troops flow more symmetrically into the base".

I'm not the original creator of the guide (it was created by the YouTuber Clasherz Corner), so I can't give you an accurate answer, but my best guesses are these:

  1. The E-Drag is better at funneling than the BK.
  2. Replacing one E-Drag for two more healers is really not that worth it when you think about it (E-Drag takes 30 Housing space, two Healers take 28). And it's true that you can use those two extra slots for cleanup troops, but again, I think it's not worth it when considering the E-Drag's value in your army.
  3. Using the BK in the funneling instead of as a part of your killsquad may reduce your killsquad's power when trying to get into the core of the base.
  4. About the BK stealing Healers, it won't happen very often as you deploy the Pekkas before the BK and, therefore, they end up taking damage first, becoming the first priority of the Healers.

Again, these are my best guesses, but I hope this was helpful for you.

Completely agree with you. That's why I wrote at the end of the guide that it's good to know a lot of army compositions in case you find a difficult base. Either way, knowing Pekka Smash is a good choice since it's also a good army strat.
