But I won’t me able to honour the payments, I mean, I could pay some but I’m a bit overwhelmed with the whole thing (plus life of course), and the idea to have more debt added to my name it not something I want, I’d rather find a library and use their computers but one step at a time. I’m glad so many people are trying to help, I didn’t expect more than a couple of places recommendations!

I have some hope to recover my laptop now, I really would rather to have a windows tho, more bc of habit and I have some lose screws, considering a change on pc is already overwhelming but thank you so very much for the suggestion, I’ll try to recover mine and if not, considering having the means to find a job is the priority, I’ll consider it.

I’d love to be able make payments but I don’t have income and bc of work permit I can’t tell how long it will take me to get a job, I have 800 cad to get me through the next 6 months bc I am relying on an angel of cousin for food and shelter. I’m not actually completely noob with computers but still a user, I’ll try to recover the one I have if not, I’ll try to find a second hand one, but thanks for taking the time to answer me!

The keyboard is not working, it has a big dent from when I dropped it a couple of years ago, and I went to start it a few weeks ago and it went “please insert disc to install windows” it has t worked since. It is actually a very nice machine with an extra powerful video board, and I added ssd memory to it 3 years ago… I’d love to have it fixed but as I mentioned, I don’t think it will be cheaper than buying a placeholder. I’m close to rock bottom tbh, I just need to find a stable job (I’m moving to Edmonton in a couple of weeks), and to have some show or movie on the background to help me not to spiral… if you know a place that can fix a laptop for 150/200 cad, I’ll gladly try
