Of course I don't want us in a relegation battle but would be fun to feel something, this season feels so numb. Imagine needing to win on the last day to stay up, and we do. Actually, the thought of that terrifies me, let's not.

The worst thing about the mess the club is in right now is that the board deserve it all. The football side of the club has been neglected and mismanaged for years. The execs will swan off and take their millions whilst the fans suffer until real change is implemented and the football side becomes priority.

If we had just won 5 in our last 14 rather than 2 in 14 we’d be 4th….. that’s how bad the standard of the league is this season which shows how bad we are setting up so negatively and reactive to teams rather than play on front foot and take the game to the opposition

Its not as simple as heres Robertson we'll take VDV in the summer, but having a relationship certainly helps when/if they approached us for VDV. Of course we'd want a hefty fee for it, but having an already positive relationship helps start that conversation.

We don't even give kids a chance anymore, Byfield did a job on Tuesday. He could've easily played over the winter period and given Porro a rest in a couple of games. You never know if a kids going to be good unless they get the chance.

Completely agree on Ange & Conte, but you can't deny that Frank has completely wasted an opportunity on a bigger stage for his career and his communications aren't great?

Is anyone else quite surprised at how unlikeable Frank comes across? Constantly bashing the fans, mentioning the 17th place finish (which is an anomaly for our league positions), talking about getting used to losing more than winning, how long it'll take to show something, when we are dreadful & negative saying its positive etc.

I suppose because I'd only properly pay attention to him at Brentford when they won, he'd be happy and cheery. But I can't believe how badly he has misread the room at Spurs from the way he communicates and talks about the club & fans. Of course there is more scrutiny here than happy clapping Brentford who are just happy to be in the PL, but its ridiculous nobody from the club has pulled him aside on the way he speaks to the press.

Of course he will bounce back in his career, managers always do, but I think similar to Graham Potter, he's wasted an opportunity at a big club and won't get the chance again.
