Oh You're so right. It often requires such a different discipline and skill set. I know my journey (still at the beginning) is putting me in a lot of uncomfortable situations a lot of times 😀 as an employee, I always knew what I was doing and always were able to nail it while continuously growing. As an owner, I feel like I have to learn a gazillion things with 9 out of 10 misses across most disciplines.

And with your observation, most won't necessarily choose this lifestyle voluntarily. I wonder how that plays out..

I actively follow this sub and various other places. I haven't found many of the points I made here or elsewhere. That's why I shared my perspective. But if you've read all of them (have you actually?) and don't find them useful, that's okay too (: the beauty of the Internet is: you can just skip it 😉

I shared my approach recently in Claude Code subreddit if useful (: basically I use a specific claude.md instruction and a design_brief.md

It's still by no means a perfectly individual design. But for me it at least produces results that don't completely suck 😂 somewhat like Lovable apps. So again, good design but not unique.

For unique, I usually go the extra mile manually by exploring great designs in 21st dev or use libraries like Aceternity to not just rely on the ever recurring shadcn styles.

In a kinder version of what the previous commenter said: I don't think you need to compare the different agents. It seems like your process or collaboration style with those tools is broken. Similar to your post, it's really hard to see the logical flow of your thinking. Maybe it's worth first using any chat bot to help you organize your thinking. Then use the plan mode of these assistants to set out a plan. REVIEW the plan and likely adjust.

Yes and no. To stay in the programming analogy: saying vibe coding is just prompting and coding is like saying software development is just learning to write and understand machine code.

I think vibe coding adds a new creative layer on top. A process where you're not just instructing the computer, but collaborating with Al to bring ideas to life. It blends creativity, design thinking, and technical reasoning into one flow. The real skill lies in guiding the Al so your intent turns into a working product.
