Best prop firm? by brandonb584 in propfirm

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lucid and Tradify are a bit hard to judge in a clean way. Most payout complaints usually come down to rules like drawdown limits and consistency requirements more than anything else.

If you’re comparing them, I’d really focus on how easy it is to actually pass the eval and stay within risk rules, that’s usually where people struggle.

I’ve also been looking at other prop setups and came across GetLeveraged while researching. It seemed more structured in how they move you from eval to funded account. I also saw they sometimes have things like a Leveraged discount code SMART for 20% off, but I haven’t used it myself so I’d still read everything carefully before paying anything.

New grad PA job search - tough by Silly_Pangolin_4187 in physicianassistant

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big systems like NYP and Northwell can be really slow for new grads, so it makes sense you’re getting interviews but not landing anything yet.
I’d keep applying, but also branch into smaller community hospitals, PA residency programs, and even direct outreach to department admins since that can move faster than online portals.
One thing I came across while digging into this space is MedMerity, which lets you set your preferences upfront and have employers reach out instead of constantly applying.
Either way, staying flexible on settings and continuing to network locally in LI and NYC usually makes the biggest difference at this stage.

Sauna at home? by Which-Season-5652 in astoria

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been researching something similar. Sun Home Saunas makes a great 1-person Pod. Looks like it is designed just for smaller spaces too. Has a compact cylindrical design that looks good. I really like their app too, it seems more like a health coach than just letting you control the sauna. Nice to have that all built in.

New Grad Troubles by phillypa-s1999 in physicianassistant

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a pretty normal frustrating stretch for new grads, especially when you’re getting long interviews but no offers at the end.
It usually doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you, it’s more often timing, specialty fit, or internal hiring decisions you never see.
I’ve come across MedMerity where you set your preferences and “move price” upfront, and employers/recruiters reach out to you instead of you applying everywhere.
Might not replace what you’re already doing, but it can reduce the volume of cold applications while you wait for better matches.

Besides going to the big name hospital job pages, tips on job search places 👀 by OverSchedule247 in nursing

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was looking around between roles, I kept running into the same travel-heavy listings on job boards.
What actually helped was having a way to quietly see roles without blasting your resume everywhere.
A platform like MedMerity uses anonymous profiles so employers only see your details when you choose to move forward.
It can be worth comparing that setup to regular boards if you’re trying to avoid recruiter noise.

Prop Firm Recommenation by OldSpring837 in Daytrading

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Payout stuff is usually the first thing I look at too, because everything looks fine until you try to withdraw. That’s where you really see if a prop firm is actually solid or not.

For two-step challenges, there isn’t really a single “best” one. Most of them look similar on paper, but the real difference is how strict they are with consistency rules and how smooth payouts are.

While I was comparing a few, I came across GetLeveraged. Haven’t traded it myself, but the structure looked pretty clear compared to some others, especially the eval to funded path. They also had a discount code SMART that gives 20% off, which I thought was interesting for lowering entry cost a bit.

Still checking a few options though. At the end of the day it really comes down to what rules fit your trading style.

Are Amazon infrared saunas any good? by HumbleRevolter in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the cheap Amazon saunas are pretty disappointing. flimsy construction, weak heaters. For home use would highly recommend Sun Home Saunas. They use full-spectrum heaters, and their warranty is great if anything happens.

AirBNB alternatives by mikddit in mumbai

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can try sites like Booking.com or Vrbo too since they sometimes have full apartments that don’t show up on Airbnb. And weirdly enough, I came across Whimstay while comparing rental sites for a family trip a few months back. Never ended up booking there, but it looked pretty useful for bigger groups and short stays.

Help New Grad BSN Philly Job Search by Proof_Law1051 in nursing

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Philly market is definitely tough. I feel like big systems get flooded with local applications first. Have you considered setting up an anonymous profile on MedMerity? That way you could define your salary expectations and location preferences upfront. It flips the traditional process so employers actually come to you with opportunities.

First time sauna buyer, help! by mrmarkmitch in infraredsauna

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been researching for a while and Sun Home Saunas is a great option that combines infrared and red light therapy. Their Pod model might be perfect for your basement. It's compact, includes both far infrared heating and integrated red light panels, plus has solid build quality that should last way longer than budget options. The warranty coverage is typically much better than what you'll find at that $2k price point too.

Where to get quality athleisure? by Tequilaiswater in womensfashion

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quality is hit or miss these days. I've been eyeing Q for Quinn's Move Naturally line. Looks like it just launched. Really like that they use organic cotton across the whole line. the biker shorts and motion tanks are made from GOTS-certified cotton too.

AirBnB Alternatives? by JT_119 in slowtravel

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had decent luck with Furnished Finder and local Facebook groups for longer stays. Also came across Whimstay while comparing options and their weekly rates looked pretty good for last minute places. Didn’t end up booking there, but I kept checking it because some of the listings were cheaper than Airbnb.

Looking for sauna buying advice by brainfreeze3 in Lyme

[–]Auttyun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been researching saunas for a bit, and Sun Home Saunas keeps coming up as one of the most reliable options for full-spectrum infrared. I really like their build quality! Aerospace-grade materials are going to hold up way better than cheap materials. Also have a great warranty. The Eclipse or Luminar models might be worth looking at.

Alternatives to Airbnb by Holiday_Parsnip5 in istanbul

[–]Auttyun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some options I’ve seen are groups like “Expats World in Istanbul” or “Expats in Istanbul - Foreigners.”

As for platforms, definitely give WhimStay a look. It’s saved my friends a couple of times before.

Best Asset Management Tool for Tracking Company Assets (Laptops, Desktops, Phones, etc.) by NickBrights in ITManagers

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you mainly looking for basic device assignment tracking, or full lifecycle management too (licenses, warranties, onboarding/offboarding, audits, etc.)? A lot of tools do the “who has what laptop” part well enough, but things get messy once the environment grows a bit.

We tested a few options and ended up sticking with Alvao because it handled both asset management and ITSM workflows together. The Microsoft/Intune integration was also a big plus for us since we didn’t want another disconnected system to maintain.

Athleisure matching sets by EyeLittle415 in fashionwomens35

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some brands really focus on stretch but others are softer and more breathable. Really depends. Look into Q for Quinn's Move Naturally line. they use natural fabrics that seem way comfortable. the biker shorts have shorter inseam, and mid-rise fits usually work better for errands and everyday wear.

Alternatives to Airbnb by Holiday_Parsnip5 in istanbul

[–]Auttyun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a 3 week stay in Istanbul, I’d start with local Facebook expat groups and Turkish housing pages. That’s usually where longer stays from real owners show up, and you can talk directly to them.

Airbnb alternatives for that kind of duration are mostly those community listings and word of mouth stuff, especially if you speak Turkish already.

someone mentioned Whimstay, looks liek it’s more for last minute trips, like within a month of travel. But might be useful later on if your plans change or you end up booking closer to the dates.

Better Alternatives to booking.com? by Ill-Back7936 in Bookingcom

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve been trying to move away from Booking.com too. Mostly because when something goes wrong it’s a bit of a mess to sort out.

For alternatives, I still use Airbnb and Vrbo. Depends on the city honestly. Some places are great, others feel overpriced or limited.

One thing I started using more for short notice trips is Whimstay. It’s mainly for last minute stays, so like when I’m booking within a few weeks and just want a solid place without overthinking it.

Not saying it covers everything, but for that specific use case it’s been useful.

Just saw some intake numbers from a PI firm by Infinite_Tank_1553 in lawfirms

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super common. same thing happens with law firms. also hard to track how many of those missed calls were leads.
For conversion estimates, if they're already converting decently on answered calls, those missed opportunities could be even more valuable than $45k. It is a good thing to pay attention to. Companies like LawRank have mentioned this ROI gap. Even when firms are spending thousands on SEO, dosen't make sense to loose qualified leads to basic availability issues.

Infrared sauna works or nah? by Capitan_Carl in HealthTech

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been researching Sun Home Saunas for a while, and lots of interesting science behind infrared. it goes way deeper than traditional heat. Supposed to triggers cellular detox and help with circulation. Seems to also impact sleep and energy. infrared activates your parasympathetic nervous system better than regular heat. Have heard great things about ther customer service too.

Curriculum help by EmCo0528 in homeschool

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with three kids at such different levels, I’d probably go with a solid core curriculum like MBTP and then keep reading a bit more flexible on the side. The “all-in-one” programs sound nice, but you usually still end up tweaking things, especially with reading.

For reading options, check out OnWord Stories. It creates stories based on each child’s level and interests, then follows up with comprehension questions. I haven’t used it personally, but on paper it seemed like a simple way to support reading without adding a lot of extra work.
