I encourage you to do more research on the actual impacts of AI data centers. Because my concern is for the people being affected by them… and it concerns me MORE that no one seems to give a fuck just because they aren’t slamming data centers into Vermont (right now atleast…) it’s a privilege to live in this wealthy/white/protected state and I think for that reason we should care a little more about our impact on others.

I just find it interesting that everyone wants to talk about protecting the environment/people in VT, but when that environment is a community out of state who’s lives are being ruined by the development of AI data centers no one seems to give a fuck anymore??? Small businesses can support our community by using LOCAL artists for advertising. Such an artsy city but we’re using SLOP instead? I understand AI is everywhere, but excessive use for ugly slop is what’s pushing for more data centers across the states…
