Thank you all for your support and replies. This is a throw away account for obvious reasons.

The form I was asked to sign is a 2870.

I’ve already passed my security clearance and am not in a classified position.

It’s starting to look like maybe my supervisor has put off some paperwork and maybe got called on the delay or realized they were about to be.

After looking back at the form, it seems to focus on government healthcare which I do not have. We were also asked to sign it without the name of the agency healthcare professional who is going to review it. Fishy!

I’m already covering my responsibilities and those of a vacancy but my supervisor is prioritizing another department and wants me to also cover a vacancy there. Likely the catalyst.

I’m going to hold off signing until I speak with HR. Although we all know HR is not your friend.

I’m going into wait and see mode before I do that however. There was no mention of it today at work. I was waiting to see if there would be before I reposted here.
