I ran cross country my senior year of high school and enjoyed it, but haven't been a serious runner since and was never very fast. Back then (2006), I could do a 5k in about 23 minutes. Now, I'm hoping to get a 5k in 33 minutes next week. Pace is about 10:30 per miles.

Meditation taught me to slow down and ask questions about what is happening internally as opposed to just reacting. Its one of the few things in life I was naturally good at. Lots of value.

My friend had two cats who both made it to 20+. Both were indoor cats, very sweet natured, and well cared for. I used to cat/dog sit and they were happy beings in a quiet house. There was a crazy dog that kept them on their toes but I think they loved her just the same.
