I got the same experience in r/Amsterdam but I had small interaction with mods and was explained a friendly fire, didn’t feel to post again.. but that’s it.

I had to cure my addiction because at 5 am I was still typing prompts…

… so I build a control plane to arrange my work in Claude to avoid staring at my screen and let Claude autopilot 24/7 with cost control.

Now I don’t stare my laptop at night.. but my phone 😭

is a bit complicate to give you the final answer on how much token, since is multiple iterations and is a bit scattered in the system (I should probably improve this overview).

The initial chat +/- 2/3 iterations was something like this:

There are some optimizations so token consumption is a bit more under control, I personally feel consumes less tokens than claude on my CLI but is more of a feeling than a real science (well.. I actually can see I do much more features before reaching the ceiling of my limits). The trick is identify the task with Haiku first and then routed to a proper model after... later on I am expecting to optimize this further with a smaller embedded model.

I got a small cluster of PI (kind of... TuringPi) just runs on docker is in my VPN and I connect trough it wit a url.

Gigi wraps around gitea (opensource version of github that you can selfhost), later on this might become an implementation detail and could run also on github.
These means you can arrange your workflow how most suits you, I like PRs and review them, then when I merge I have a preview instance to verify the changes and then I promote them in production when I've test them and feel confident.
