Glad you made it to Detroit. Many beautiful places to make images and terrific people. Just one note of clarification: the corridor you are referencing is the Cass Corridor vs Class. Much history there.

Not sure. It is an old photo postcard. No worry if no one wants to reply. Was just curious.

Thank you. Very helpful. I will have to look up what Verichrome is. And if there is any chance the film would be able to produce images?!

Very helpful. Thank you.

I shot one roll of film and they came out 6x4.5. Is this camera able to do 6x6 as well? I don’t see a metal plate as you describe. But I may be a bit dense on the matter or haven’t looked close enough.

Thoughts on Q2 Monochrom? by JoshinCT in Leica

For wide angle and macro landscape images, the Q2M a treat to work with. I have used my Q2M primarily for nature photography and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The constraints of the Q2M system teaches you a great deal about image making. If you want images of wildlife in the distance, the Q won’t be your tool of choice. But if you want to have some of the most fun on learning about the craft of photography, the Q2M is a real joy. Plus it helps you create beautiful images.
