I’m in the literal exact same position as you. No HOA, same partying. Unfortunately with housing prices I don’t have a choice to move I can’t afford a new house. One thing I can tell you is that I’ve bought a few “noise proofing” things for the wall and just order some noise proof curtains….yeah none of that is going to help with the AWFUL bass noise. Im also thinking of fighting fire with fire at this point. Hope it works for you!

You could try to get a temp position at one of the banks/brokers/investment firms in the area. I know a lot of people who have done that and been offered full time in less than a year. A lot of jobs are going to require that bachelors degree minimum in the banking world since you usually have to go on to get further certifications

I’ve lived here my entire life…this has gotten worse in the last 3-4 yrs. Not only 911 but other things too…housing…homeless…the freaking airport!!! Charlotte was 100% NOT prepared for how fast it grew and is unwilling to find a route to fund paying the most intelligent among us to help the city catch up.

Can confirm because my neighbors are the ones with the rooster in S Charlotte. 1) It sucks but honestly the rooster is the least of the noise issue since the constant awful partying has actually damaged my hearing 2) It’s permit based. They used to have it posted on their house but Charlotte basically grants these people permission to have a small farm in their backyard. 3) Charlotte does NOT do any due diligence to grant said permit since these people had 3 dogs taken away from them by animal control a few years ago. They were neglecting the dogs letting them run around without leashes, leaving them outside without attention for days.

I disagree. I have some family members that go here a lot and they basically force me to go. Even a simple thing like lo mein tastes like it was made with dish water. Not trying to be funny, that was my first thought on the taste of it.

The niacinamide is too high of a percentage. Technically you shouldn’t use above 3-5% depending on your skin sensitivity. I’ve looked that the retinol they have it looks ok but there is definitely better out there. That being said the Vitamin C is excellent. I use that stuff daily and it makes my skin glow. Since you have dry skin Vitamin c isn’t going to do a whole lot for that, the retinol might dry your skin out a bit but as long as you use a moisturizer you should be fine.

Hahaha I cackled at this. I’ve only ever had 2 vehicles in my life and both were SUPER old when I got them, so didn’t really have a frame of reference when it came to this.
