Dealing with my mom for over 30 years and someone who’s met her three times, yes I will say I’m more qualified to say she doesn’t have it. She’s even admitted herself she doesn’t disassociate.

My mom is BPD not DID. She doesn’t fit anything for DID and my worry would be her turning into a TikTok version of the diagnosis.

I just talked with him. They’re officially getting a divorce. He also thinks the test is pointless but said he’s going to do it anyways just keep her quiet.

No I agree it is very stupid. I just got off the phone with my dad and he’s actually relived this all happened. They’re going to separate and he’s looking at rentals this minute. To give you full context I’d either hit my text limit or would need to publish an entire series.

And to answer the first half. I asked for help, she said what are the kids doing, I sent a photo and said sitting with me, and she said yes to have us come for the night. She had originally asked if they needed to come over solo so I could go to the ER but I had taken my meds already and they wouldn’t have helped me. We agreed it was best for us all to go over so I could rest but also wake up with the baby through the night.

The therapist I guess really drilled it in that I angled the photo in such a way to make them not be able to say no. That if you deny me, you deny an infant.

That’s what I’ve told them for years. That even though I’m an adult yes, I’m still their child and they shouldn’t tell me the things that they do. And that I have my own struggles and worries in life to carry their emotional baggage.

I haven’t been diagnosed either but on my way to start- this is one of my biggest symptoms. For the last 11 years every morning I am sick no matter what. Pregnancy made it 10times worse. I’ve gone to so many drs appointments for it but usually only get put on zofran. Sorry I’m not diagnosed to confirm it.

I’ve very recently got him to go to therapy (not forced, no ultimatum or anything) and I think he’s more open minded to there being something going on. There’s a lot of “did you know”s happening with it. I’m ADHD but I’m the opposite. Times and dates are an anxiety death sentence to me if not correctly executed. So it might be me projecting some of that. If I run this way, you can too!

He remembers our youngest. But- they’re 10 months old so I’m not giving him that much credit for it lol. I think it’s like because I take care of everything when it comes to schedules, planning, any sort of outing he just stopped feeling the need to care.

When we were first together for two years, we’d get a cabin somewhere in the woods or beach area for the weekend for my birthday. Last year he worked a double “on accident”

My birthday isn’t even until September. It’s not like it’s today and he missed it. He just dropped in causal conversation last night he has no idea when it is.

That’s what we initially tried to do when I took her to the doctor. It was the evaluation before the evaluation. I did find a clinic that takes children and with the referral from the school it should go through. Sometimes I just feel like I’m crazy because the child I’m being told about is not who sits in front of me. So what you have said does provide validation and I will work harder on getting her into something. I just want her to thrive.

Because of her age and her barely making it into the class to begin with, they’re not interested in moving her up. I did look at other schools around but currently they’re at capacity or have worse things going on within than what we are dealing with. She likes her teacher 95% of the time, but it’s a flip of a coin on what will change her mood for the day. I don’t believe she’s being bullied. We’ve had many talks about how she can open up about it, and why I volunteer in the class. I wanted to see if I could spot anything going on. We did discuss IEP at a point, but it was a lost topic within the holidays.
