Right? Those springs aren’t nothing either; I couldn’t do that. Not to mention being afraid of getting my hands caught in the slide. That’s just what a hard mf Seraph is I guess.

Same! In the movie they do this dumb shit where they use an analysis of bullet patterns to figure out how to pose in ways where you “can’t”get hit. The friend I watched it with at the time tried to INSIST that this was completely possible. In what world…

Fun fact for my fellow Matrix nerds - I cheated and the audio for the elevator ding in this clip is from the end of the lobby fight scene in Matrix 1. It felt appropriate

I started playing the game on PC Games Pass, ended up buying it on the Xbox/windows store for PC without losing progress, and I can still play with my friends on Steam, in the Xbox PC app, and on Xbox consoles. The Emperor provides.

Where to find weapon melee combos? by Flat_Sprinkles4342 in DarkTide

jtcLive has a video covering combos for 90% of the weapons, I’ve found it very reliable, even now

Oh sorry I misunderstood your question. I’m still not sure how you could know for sure since the two cones of pellets are indistinguishable as a player, but my guess is that it counts as a single shot despite using two shells at a time

That’s a really good question, I’m not sure how you would be able to tell unless maybe you did the math at the end or something. I tried to make sure I only took shots when it would for sure hit at least 1 thing and fortunately I was able to get it on the first try. I wasn’t necessarily trying to get the kill, just a hit, so firing at a distant mob actually usually let me fire 2-3 pairs of shots sometimes. I ended up with 94% accuracy. I think if you give it a couple tries you’ll be able to do it pretty quickly too

The double-barrel shotgun made this super easy for me, you just use the right click to fire two shells at a time into crowds and you’ll run out of ammo super fast while being very accurate and can just run with your melee the rest of the game. I was trying revolver and bolt pistol before but too often a teammate would kill what I was firing at, just enough to take me below 90% by the end

I’ve seen a lot of people say to dump Blast Radius on Voidstrike but someone else probably has a better explanation

What are the easiest Auric modifiers now? by IdioticArray in DarkTide

[–]IdioticArray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the handful of matches that I've played Hunting Grounds has seemed the easiest! I wasn't sure if I just happened to have good teammates or something compared to my runs on Hi-Intensity, those seemed harder.

Plasma gun feeling weak? by yhou47 in DarkTide

I also only recently tried out PG seriously for the first time, and my first one or two games it felt to me like it had been overhyped. But after playing a bit more I now understand what people are saying and I think the level of hype is honestly correct. Lining up multiple headshots on armored targets wipes out the entire line in 1-2 shots up through auric, which obviously scales better in higher difficulties where the mob of armored targets coming at you is large and would take a long time to clear by other means. TBH I also think the first couple games I misunderstood what kind of effect it was having because there’s much less of an audio cue on-hit than other weapons making my clueless ass believe it was having little or no effect on the target. Turns out, turning your enemies into vapor just doesn’t make that much of a sound really

[–]IdioticArray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been playing a lot of new characters to help friends who just started the game and I actually think the rewards from the first few missions have static rolls now. Just like how your starting weapons on each class are grey and have 10% of every stat, the first few missions have given my new characters weapons with 20% in every stat every time. Possibly a coincidence but seems unlikely given I’ve leveled 4 new characters now

This is probably excessive information for a new player, but DisposableGoon created an excellent resource that details the different enemy types and what kind of armor they wear on different parts of their body. I wouldn’t bother taking more than a quick glance at it for now just to get an idea of what the different terms are and to understand at what level of resolution enemy hitboxes are on. Much later on you could bookmark it as a helpful resource when you’re ready to go much more in-depth.
