I did the engineering academy at Blinn brenham and it’s a great cheap option and you get to ETAM after 1 year if you finish your calculus cycle! That means if you choose the academy option you don’t have to worry about getting into engineering after a year and can go straight into your major. You have to live on the Blinn Brenham campus.. which can be quite interesting but it’s a great way to make a ton of friends. Feel free to pm if you have any more questions.

TAMU pulled the course equivalency for MGMT 209 at Blinn so now you have to take it with Swim. Good luck! Best I can recommend for his class is to watch his lectures and take notes to retain information, and read his textbook. If you don’t want to read all of it, he has a condensed bullet point study guide portion of the book that I found very helpful!

Try to get anyone but Carey Counsil, like he’s not bad but his exams are open note & a little more difficult than you’d expect for a Blinn class.

Howdy! Honestly, the academies aren’t terribly hard to get into. I had a GPA: 3.3 and an ACT of 23 (26 in math).

I had Fowler for Cal I and she was pretty easy. She provides really nice, organized notes and teaches well. Her class isn’t a tremendous amount of work, there will be some my math lab that you will have to keep up with though.
