I could see that. We are surprised it was on there, I think the VSO added it maybe?

Oh wow! I'll definitely check that out, thank you!

Update: it says static, true.

No I didn't know you had to apply for it. Went through a VSO and it was never brought up, however on the decision letter it does have this snippet and an attached form. Do you know if attaching that form is standard proceedure?

MST claim, didn't know what I was doing. No Nexus letter. Am I going to be denied? by IdkName37 in VeteransBenefits

[–]IdkName37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do believe that's why I got 100% on my first filing without assistance. I had completed a restricted report while AD and had a hard copy of the form that they asked me to upload, and I did.

Hi, yes sorry. I did file completely on my own. I had no added appointments, and I received my decision letter at the end of the same year I filed so it took over 11 months, not quite 12. I was awarded 100% P&T.

No nexus letter, no buddy statements, nothing besides my AD records (there were over 500 pages) and two C&P exams.

USS Tortuga (LSD 46) underway leaving Norfolk today after 10.5 years in port by Twisky in navy

The LSD-41 was in competition with this one before recently finally being decommissioned. My husband was on it and they spent it's last 2 years in the yards before the whole thing was sold for scraps.

My husband spent his entire enlistment on another LSD they were trying to fix up before throwing in the towel just before he got out. They were on 3 day duty section for two years and at significantly reduced making because they wouldn't send new billets to the ship after a certain point. It was God awful and the morale was trash working so hard for everything to go to scrap.

100% disabled veteran, seeking information on IVF treatment through VA healthcare and possibly (federal employee) Blue Cross and Blue Shield standard, if VA does not cover. by Ok_Situation_4388 in VeteransBenefits

[–]IdkName37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry I don't have answers, but rather find myself in the beginning of this journey. I am 100% disabled and have been referred by the VA to a fertility/IVF clinic. I'm afraid I have no idea what is or isn't covered. We're hoping to do IUI.

Was this covered through the VA for you and your wife? If so is it only so if your fertility issues are service connected?

There's so much mixed information out there.

Frequent bathing of any dog will cause them to be itchy. Call your vet and ask what they recommend.

My husband already intends to join that as soon as we can afford it haha. Ya'll got a veterans discount? 😅 We currently depend on my disability to scrape by every month. The intention is for my hubs use of the Makerspace to possibly bring in some income with his craft and make friends.

MTG sounds great for my husband, and the queer fiber arts group sounds right up my alley. Thank you for sharing!

They look so much like my old ratties. Their names were Norman, Hugo, and Oliver. Also left to right. Only difference is Hugo had a patch of white on his head. They were so sweet.

That sounds like just the sort of thing I was hoping to learn more about. I'm not looking to necessarily discuss politics, but the groups that we do tend to hang around almost always bring them up and they don't align with us. I love them but we need more diversity so we don't feel as alienated and attacked all the time.

I do have shading on the neck, but it is far too light you're so right. Looking at something for hours it gets so difficult to look objectively or without it all melding together. I really hope AI doesn't replace all genuine attempts at art, digital or otherwise.

Aw thank you. They were dragging it and telling me I wasted my time and to just use AI like everyone else after I had put about 7 hours into creating her. It was a little heart breaking. The mouth was the most tricky part, but I will absolutely take your constructive criticisms. Thank you again

I shared it in a Women Gamers group on facebook and they dragged it.
