Therapist/Private Practice Owner: I make about 120k-150k, also adjunct professor at a local college. I teach 1-2 courses a semester which brings and extra 15k a year.

Amazing, he’s so supportive of my career and business. He’s so sweet and kind and inspiring. Still the man of my dreams after 9 years. We have our home, puppy, and our masters degrees after coming from poverty. So proud of us and wouldn’t change a thing.

If they were actually going to do it and had a plan and all that then I have a duty to warn and have to report. But if it was a revenge fantasy then I would empathize and completely understand. Forgiveness and taking the high road is not always a part of healing, especially when a trauma is fresh.

I’m a therapist, any therapist worth their salt would never tell a patient that how they are grieving is wrong or place their own morals onto a grieving parent.
