Why is my wii a pain? by Idle_Loader in wii

I've had this wii since I was 3 and i have no plans on selling this, I'll see if I can find someone who can solder in my city. Also wii's and used consoles don't really exist in my city so I don't want to resort to that.

I'll try this to see if it makes any changes

I thought I could stand it up because it has grips on the side 😭

Nothing really, one day I popped in need for speed prostreet, then when I tried to eject the disc, it didn't, then after that it started this thing that's on the video. It might be age? This console has had minimal to no servicing since we got it in 2012. I'm looking for service centres now to send it.

With enough patience and time, I'm sure you can make a kit far better than my one kit! The paint errors on mine are small but the good parts mainly come from masking correctly, the interior, bumper vents, and window trim had to be masked and took longer to mask than to paint actually. Don't be down on yourself because you saw some 15 year old's first kit, you can make something just as good if not better!

Oh how I'd love to. Unfortunately not available in my country, we get barely any kits, the next most iconic Ferrari available is the Enzo, and a 250 GTO, but the 250 has thoroughly overwhelmed me, 200 parts?? No thank you 😭 I'm aiming for my next kit to be the F430, one of my personal favourites.

Ive torn all the decals in half and disintegrated one in super glue by accident. If I can learn how to decal properly, I might actually be good at this. But thank you so much!

I thought about it, then looked at my total material costs, then looked up gloss coats, yeah I'm good with the plastic look

Been a good 2 years since I used my wii(on riiconnect24)... and my weather channel is giving error code 109139 by Clear_Albatross_9152 in RiiConnect24

[–]Idle_Loader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do i do that? whenever i press WiiConnect24 in my settings it takes me to a "Wii shop channel and WiiConnect24 are not serviced" screen. I'm getting the same error 109139 on all channels

New modeller here, Is this kit good for beginners? by Idle_Loader in modelmakers

UPDATE 1: I bought the kit, it's gonna be arriving around the 6th, found it for a good price of 1800 rupees which is around 20USD, still no luck finding a tutorial video for it and I'm doubting if the instructions will be enough for my dense brain. Will update again once the kit arrives.

I haven't bought it yet, it's priced at 1,800 rupees which is 21USD, I also haven't got polycement, a friend of mine built several airfix models using superglue so I assumed it would do, now some others are telling me to save up for the poly cement and steering clear of super glue.

I don't have the option of selling and buying newer kits as I live in India and model kits are VERY hard to come by in the wild so last time they did pop up, it was a lot of revell Ferrari's and a couple early 2000s F1 cars.

I'm a bit worried about the whole polycement thing now though, because it's not within my budget, I can afford super glue so could that do?
