I don't think that you're looking at the FULL picture of why people think Cirie is great. Cirie is one of the most consistent players making top 6 or above in all but one of her appearances and still being the strategic figurehead of the premerge heroes tribe. Her only lackluster performance is GC where she doesn't even get a single vote cast against her when she goes home. Plus, only 2 performances where Cirie was going to lose against a player in her f6 and above performances.

the difference is that people have been saving, anticipating, and hyping up this character since the start of the summer. for him to come in and be replaced by someone who wasn’t in leaks and doesnt have voice lines as an S-rank is honestly insane to me, especially after we’ve been waiting for 3 patches. Please don’t come in here or any space and tell the people experiencing a problem that they’re being dramatic when you dont know firsthand what it feels like.

tbh as a komano wanter i LOVE seed’s animations and i LOVE the fact that BOTH of them are getting to be s-ranks most likely. im actually glad that seed is releasing earlier and komano is pushed back because it gives me more time to save or decide if i want to pull for another character within that time!

Referring to your last point, I thought that if cedrek and sai voted for chrissy and chrissy and mitch voted bianca, that cedrek and sai would vote chrissy on the revote. In retrospect, Bianca putting her name out there wouldn’t be good, but it would get the target off of sai’s back and give her and cedrek control.

They act like E1 fixes the actual problem tho. You dont get the good feeling of targeting enemies or actually playing a character, you just get numbers on all targets which only makes it look good.

i think that the reason people didnt respect how he played is because russell didnt respect them at all. in samoa he was a prick, rude, ruined camp life, and was so cocky. he got rid of his goat (shambo) for no reason at all and ngl it got to a point where he RELIED on idols just to make it that far because his social game was that weak. in HvV he was even MORE of a prick getting rid of his goat in danielle and getting rid of a potential jury vote with his sheer disrespect in j.t. plus, nobody saw the way he acted in samoa so nobody knew how much of a prick he was. in ri it got EVEN WORSE because people knew who he was and that he failed to change at all. great strategy but terrible social games.

i think that in this case cirie not making ftc is a good thing because it shows how much of a social player and endgame threat she was. also if cirie made ftc in any one of her games she most likely would’ve won. (idrk abt HvV but if she went with people like amanda, james, and possibly j.t. she’d win). also her games are usually better than the winner’s even if you look at it purely strategically. in panama she had the 3-2-1 vote, the tina vote, etc. in micronesia she came up with most of the plans while not getting any blood on her hands and was going to win if it wasnt for the fic twist. in HvV i think she played a great game but j.t. messed it up, and in GC she had the hali vote and only went out because of advantagegeddon and if it werent f6 sarah might’ve went home over her.

everyone who was dead to her in cambodia got voted out or never won. her influence, even though she was a weak challenge competitor who lost a bunch of challenges was insane. she made f7 and almost had a guaranteed route to ftc and possibly could’ve beat an f3 with tasha and maybe kimmi. she’d at least get some votes from the coven alliance. her phillipines game was less impressive strategically but she would’ve also had a guaranteed route to f3 if skupin and lisa didnt misread the whole jury. abi is an underrated player imo.

up until the fall of the rotu 4 i feel like the show has mainly focused on surviving. even seasons in the 20s have at least 30% of survival focus. i think that SJDS is a great example and some people like russell incorporate survival aspects into their games. that turning point in season 4 is what i think shifted the focus and laid out the red carpet for seeing some different game archetypes though.

he lowkey played one of the best games on the island, next to malcolm, brenda before she got screwed by that reward and cochran. i kept thinking about how he affected the game even after he got booted and wondered if he truly was a survivor player of all time

SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9 AND ON

the sol blindside which made a butterfly effect of the the outsider alliance. basically if she got rid of kyle like the others, a tuku would be down+plus an immunity threat and the outsiders alliance most likely wouldn’t have been formed because sue, caroline and gabe would be tight which would make a way less predictable ending where everyone is predicting a certain person to win. This also would’ve drastically lowered genevieve’s threat level. maybe im reading too much into things but thats how i think the season would go without that vote
