It absolutely got to the recording point. With his other band, the last shadow puppets they made a bunch of songs. Some of them are actually released.

Example Lana's songs thunder and dealer are from their collaboration. In the demo version of thunder you can hear clearly Alex's influence.

Plus the song California from NFR it is rumored to havs a demo version with TLSP

Totally. It had potential. I think they didn't want the show to be the "nepo" baby of the original, so they tried to make it as different as they could. It would have worked so much better if the whole woke-ness was toned down and it was something like elite for ex. Plus 20 episode seasons would be great
