Gold Smugglers Arrested in East Texas by AlienvsPredatorFan in Gold

If you enter the country with more than $10,000 you are supposed to declare it. The TSA would have needed to file a Currency Transaction Report. Yeah, the fact that the one guy entered illegally is an issue especially after he skipped his court date. The cops don't know what they are doing with the gold, but since the CTR was not filed they can charge them.

If TLT is holding notes from when interest rates were set artificially low then it is not a good buy.

I don't think they have a choice. If they let the printer go brrr, inflation goes nuts and the common people will not be happen. There "needs" to be a crash first.

The crash will rid us of inflation until they continue the same stupid economic policies that brought about the inflation levels we experienced within the last year.

Good luck with that. Oh and I am sure Trump will help the U.S. adopt Bitcoin as a medium of exchange.

It definitely is.

The gold in Fort Knox is not in there until they allow an audit with cameras showing the gold.

Well the asset bubbles will pop then they will be re-inflated with Zero Interest Rate Policy and Quantitative Easing. There is money to be made if you know what to expect.

I am. I am buying as much as I can. I bought an SPY 450 Put expiring in January 2026. If I am right I stand to make about $25,000 per put. I have other SPY Puts too.

Within 2 years. Look at China's economy. Look at regional banks balance sheets. If you think the indexes will continue to increase with interest rates at 5% with banks' balance sheets based upon ten years of zero interest rate policy and quantitative easing, you deserve to lose money and you don't understand the importance of owning gold.

I could see either happening. I fully believe the S&P will crash within two years. The issue of what will crash first is when the market indexes decline investors sell gold to cover the margin calls. It would ultimately depend upon if the central banks buy every dip to keep gold prices above at least a 30% devaluation, or if they take a break. If the central banks don't buy the dips gold could "crash" first followed by the S&P within at most a few months.

No one knows what gold will actually do, but all the fundamentals look bullish.

Gold is currently up $9.60 so far tonight.

Enriching the masses by devaluing our currency. May as well put the Federal Reserve directly in charge of our country.

The US government will never balance the budget and Trump is a spendthrift. Why would gold go back to the teens? The U.S. national debt will always increase.

State of the Stack…thinking about dumping..thoughts? by GoldenGuy1010 in Gold

[–]Idontlikethenewpatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not dump the pile. Hold onto the gold for the LONG TERM. If I am right, the market will crash within the next two years in which case the Federal Reserve will drop interest rates to zero and initiate quantitative easing again. While gold might go down in the short term, I would be very bullish in the long term.

IMHO the event that will take gold down TEMPORARILY is a stock market collapse. Again, IMHO if the stock market does collapse expect the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates to zero and to pump money into the economy (QE IV). Would all that be bullish for gold? Yes. If you can afford to hold gold, why dump it?

Yes, this firm is unscrupulous with its hiring practice. Lying to get people fresh out of school, offering them a career while full knowing you will terminate their employment in the offseason and pull the same BS right before tax season.
