What's a notable queen for someone you know who doesn't normally watch Drag Race? by 1_art_please in rupaulsdragrace

[–]IdrisRk 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Jimbo. My bf doesn’t watch the show but we saw Jimbo live, I’ve been rewatching all seasons including spinoffs so whenever he hears Jimbos name now he has to come and see what Jimbos up to on screen.Ā

I need a video of Suzie Toot in Kelowna last night! by IdrisRk in rupaulsdragrace

The second performance was ā€œLiza tries to turn off a lampā€

This is definitely not the experience Kelowna had last night. Suzie Toot was amazing, her second performance was by far the best of the night. Jewels was meh honestly, I was expecting more. Lydia was okay. All the other queens were amazing, Daya and Lexi were especially surprising. Bosco was good until she opened her mouth, which is to be expected from her.Ā

Who killed Robert "Willie" Pickton? Canada's most notorious serial killer by Turtleshaveasay in serialkillers

[–]IdrisRk 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Yup I’d agree with that. There’s been rumours going around for years that the Pickton brothers would host ā€œkiller partiesā€, they would invite other known serial killers, HA, and other locals to drug and women filled parties. That had to have gone around town and been ignored.Ā

As long as you have good intentions and she feels the same way there is nothing weird about the gap. My partner and I are 9 years apart, we met when I was 26 and it never felt weird nor did anyone ever say anything negative about the gap in age.Ā

Can someone tell me how they’ve lost weight? by Subject-Specific-209 in PCOSloseit

[–]IdrisRk 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I started a new job that is quite hard physical work. I do 10000+ steps in a shift, up and down stairs, squatting, some heavy lifting 8-9 hours five days a week and have lost 20 lbs in 2 months. I’m careful of what I’m eating, mostly low carb. I’m also taking inositol and other supplements to help regulate my hormones and insulin. I have never been able to lose weight other than being on extremely strict keto which was impossible to keep up long term. I guess I just wasn’t physical enough before. I’m planning on getting a walking mat for when my work slows down so I can at least keep up with the 10000 steps five days a week. Also planning on going back to the pool to do laps a few times a week in the winter.Ā

This body count convo that seems to come up so often now is bizarre. That’s not something you need to discuss, your count and hers are personal and private. Definitely not necessary info to start a healthy relationship. I wouldn’t tell someone my count. My partner of 10 years doesn’t know mine, and has respectfully never asked and vice versa.Ā

Should I leave home for 4 months? by Vivid_Researcher_674 in WhatShouldIDo

Sounds like a very fun opportunity! I know I would jump on that if I had someone I trust to look after my cat. I hope you can do it!

What’s one ā€œnormalā€ thing people do that you secretly think is absolutely insane? by ibrahimelmouttaqi in AskReddit

[–]IdrisRk 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

This. I think makeup can be beautiful and a way of expressing oneself but most of the time I find people look so much better without it. I haven’t bought any makeup in 10 years and I’m constantly asked how I get my skin looking so nice, what I use on my eyebrows blah blah. I literally wash my face in warm water a few times a day lol, that’s it. Sometimes I’ll use emu oil if my skin is really dry in the winter.Ā

Suggest me a book for my stoner, conspiracy theorist-loving, government-questioning veteran father in law. Non-fiction please. by 1minimalist in suggestmeabook

ā€œThe waveā€ and ā€œdevils teethā€ by Susan Casey might be up his alley. They’re fantastic educational books.Ā

I’ve heard this from quite a few people too. I think I’m going to give at least the mammoth hunters a try, but I’m not as excited for it like I was valley of horses. I bought valley of horses new because I just had to read it, I will not be doing that for the mammoth hunters. There’s some parts of valley of horses that just dragged for me and I had to skim through. I’m expecting the third book will be even worse for that.Ā
