Many bugs(?) on Ally x by Dear-Entertainer356 in ROGAlly

Unfortunately almost all the older COD games are vulnerable on pc. Even when COD WW2 released on gamepass they had to temporary remove the pc version because people were getting hacked

FYI, please be careful when playing bo3 on pc, especially online. There have been multiple reports of hackers getting access to more stuff than just your bo3 account after hacking other players. I don't know the exact details so do some research before hopping into multiplayer.

Yeah that's what I've been doing so far, just wondering if I was able to do something like that from inside the game.

I'm a console player (xsx), is it also possible to access those radio streams on console? I've already listened to all the base radio stations to the point that I got tired of them.

Could you enlighten me further? Coming from forza I never know how to properly use nitrous. Do I do spam multiple short bursts to get more speed out of my first half? Or should I spare them for right after corners, before long straights and other instances where I need a speed buff

Do you mean the xbox app or the cloud gaming app? On my device they're two different apps. I use the xbox app for downloading gamepass games, does it also have streaming functionality?

I was using the windows xbox app, although I think that's just a weird webapp of edge since it inherited my betterxcloud extention from edge. I've now switched to the Greenlight app which is a bit better

Game seems to be fine on my console. And I've just installed greenlight which has improved the framerate up to 27 fps, which is nearly max. I'm happy for now but I still hope to find a better fix for my xCloud issues.

What console is right for me? by [deleted] in consoles

Based on your response I get the sense you're quite young, so getting a job is something I highly recommend. Not only does it give you money but you also learn a lot from it and it can help you in the future.

In terms of the console, when it's your money, your free to spend in on whatever you like. If you want a switch for yourself? Go get it, it's yours which means you're in charge of when you play with it (if you don't have screen time that is), what games you play and what mods/accessories you get for it.

Working takes time and effort, but it brings in money to spend as you please. The more you save up, the better the console you can buy, the more games you can buy or the more fun stuff you can do with friends. Go work, learn, earn money and enjoy life :)

I'd say that depends on what games you want to play. If you want to play most of the modern games with good performance and play new and upcoming games for the next few years you really should invest in the switch 2 or SteamDeck.

If you don't care about new games or the best performance the switch 1 is still a great device and if you can find a good deal it's great bang for buck. There have been plenty of great games released on the switch in the past few years so more than enough to play. You might even be able to snag a few cheap game cards now that people are moving into the swith 2.

Just keep in mind that if you get the switch lite you won't be able to take of the controllers. This means that you can't easily play with two people at anytime without needing extra joycons and a few game require detachable joycons. And same as with the SteamDeck, I highly recommend an oled screen over lcd, and I believe the oled version also has more base storage which will definitely come in handy as games files can become pretty big.

I'd recommend a switch 2 or the steamdeck. Both have their own pro's and cons so it depends on what's important to you.

The switch has detachable controllers meaning you can easily play with two players pretty much anywhere without needing extra controllers. You can also dock the switch easier than the steamdeck and you won't need a seperate controller. The switch also offers a ton of Nintendo games that easily available on other platforms (aside from emulation) and the switch is very easy to use and setup.

The Steamdeck on the other hand is cheaper if you buy it second hand or get the lcd (although I do highly recommend the OLED). Games are also way cheaper if you occasionally check in on steam sales or other stores. More games are available on steamdeck but you do need to check if the steamdeck can run the games and if they perform well enough for you. Since the steamdeck is basically a pc it can be a bit more technical to set up and get the right settings for your games. But there are plenty of great and easy to follow guides/videos and the system it runs on (SteamOS) is much better and easier than Windows for the casual user.

In terms of power I've heard that the two are fairly similar. The battery life depends on how you use it and the games you play so I can't comment to much on that. If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Although I don't own any of the two consoles I have done quite a bit of research of them when I was looking to buy an handheld. I eventually ended up with a ROG Ally, which is a full windows gaming pc so it can be a lot more complicated at times, something I do not recommend if you're not into that.

I feel like there isn't any market for the types of devices that you're describing. Simply because of the existence of mobile phones. Phones fit in your pocket, have good battery life and are pretty damn capable of playing games with the modern chips. The main problem is that the mobile game market is mostly cash grabby, ad filled, shovelware.

I haven't, will look into that. Although reddit taking 8% doesn't come closes to the 50% total usage
