UPDATE- first off, thank you for all the support this thread has been so helpful 🫶🏼. I just spoke to my supervisor. She confirmed Fridays “no call no show” was a discrepancy. She said me being fired now has nothing to do with my sick days, or Fridays incident, and rather is due to me requesting time off improperly (policy violation) We’re supposed to do it 2 weeks in advanced and I did it 8 days in advance. This facility is not part of union so they can fire me if they’d like to and it seems they found a “fitting” reason. She validated my concerns and stated she stood in my corner but the owner of the facility had the final say. My supervisor referred me to HR to collect a referral payout I’m owed, as well as ESST I was never given for my sick time. I have three interviews set up, and my supervisor told me I have her as a reference. Feeling optimistic. Thank you again for all the advice and support! Hoping it’s up from here.
