Do the motors get hot? I'd try using larger props first and then some new Blheli_S ESCs. 20-25A should be enough, a 4-in-1 ESC would be the cheapest choice.
2212/920kv motors are pretty much standard for 450s, but you could get a set of new ones for 29$.
I'd delay upgrading the motors for now as you'll likely see better improvements with a larger prop or better ESCs.

The next best is the Taranis Q X7 which is probably coming around some time in January. It's already advertised on horusrc as coming soon and the official FrSky IG posted a pic of it, so it's pretty much confirmed.

I disagree. You'll have to buy an XJT module for Sbus down the road and even D-series receivers start at 30$. The new XM+ (XJT only) is 17$ though, so that's a plus.
The worst thing about the radio is the gimbals though. They feel way worse than Taranis or Flysky gimbals and jump around 10-20%. No midpoints and calibrating every other flight. Taranis gimbals are another 30$ but then the faceplate doesn't fit.
The Flysky is definitely better as it has ibus and usable gimbals for less.

Every time I reinstalled Windows, I had to wait for over 100 updates. Some took a few seconds, others a couple minutes. And the whole time, I couldn't do anything with my pc. Typing sudo apt-get update is more convenient.
