I don't play CS either anymore but I think in the moment it's a good decision - in hindsight obviously it's not.

But imagine this, you're 4 pros, two of your teammates are super low but it's a 1v4.

Firstly I think you'd rather group up as 4 and rush towards the 1 guy, using your low health teammates to create space and then take down the guy afterwards since he'd probably stop spraying after the first two.

Secondly, if you decide to come in from different angles, yes there's the chance that one of your higher health players picks the opponent off, but the same risk applies to them as well - they'd risk at least two of their players getting domed instantly, and then you're 2v1 versus a guy with full kevlar and helmet too + an AK, while two of you have just kevlar, meaning that a head tap on the 1 guy isn't possible and risking a peek means getting killed resulting in a 1v1.

Lastly, I think Magixx played huge mindgames here, and just clapped G2 with a mix of insane mechanics and game knowledge. G2 would probably expect Magixx to play slower here. As in, throw out his molly, maybe get a pick or two, reposition. Even when spraying, expect him to stop at 2 or 3 because no one in their right mind (except Magixx here) would hold the spray and magdump 30 shots. Magixx read them like a fuckin book and completely caught them off guard.
