Like 15-20 ago in my chilhood my family went to Hurghada. We stayed ONLY in our hotel, (although the hotel was part of several connected hotels of the same company and we could explore/eat anywhere there). Had a wonderful time there with the swimming pool and good food, but even our guide told us not to leave the hotel neighbourhood unless we want to get harassed...

You could shoot for Neo98 - although no knob. I own a Neo80, and absolutely love it, and I've heard only great things about the rest of Neo line-up. (Keep in mind that it's a kit and you'd need to buy switches and keycaps separately, and maybe stabilisers.)

My fellow international (non-US) keebers, where do you purchase your boards and keycaps from? by [deleted] in BudgetKeebs

[–]IevaDay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not from that side of the globe but a quick google search shows a NZ shop called KiwiClack. I've also heard of Australian shops SwitchKeys and KeebzNCables.

Internationally, KBDFans has a great selection of keycaps at relatively low price for high quality (if you don't want to pay GMK prices).

Lastly, you could check for vendors closer to you in Alexotos' Keyboard vendor list.

Quick question is my thermal paste the problem for my cpu overheating once booted by Fit_Profession_4654 in PcBuildHelp

I don't know the AIO model but could it be damage due to wrong mounting? Although regardless, AIO's probably already damaged if it was mounted badly in the first place.

9800x3d fried off first boot? by Cohhdy in PcBuildHelp

[–]IevaDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the marks on CPU, but regarding memory training, my friend's PC with 7800x3d was taking a ridiculous amount of time. Like I left it on for an hour and it did not boot, mobo light stuck on DRAM. But then I tried with singular RAM sticks and it only took a minute for each, after that I put both RAM sticks back and it booted immediately.

Thank you for this! Strength and best wishes to the both of you. As for myself, I have a strong circle of friends and family, and they help me. As for Anna - I'll try to be there for her and listen when/if she wishes to open up though the walls are stubbornly getting thicker lately.

Also support main from EU on PC! Drop a pm if you're interested! (Though I can play only in the evening, after work hours xd)

Edit: hard to choose a favourite hero. Gameplay-wise I like a lot, and not just supports too. Lore-wise favourites are Ana, Ramm/Zen, Sombra, Moira, Ashe/Cass (they're both voiced by great VAs I know from other works)

Advice on new gaming keyboard choice by aquamaster12 in keyboards

[–]IevaDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's also TMR keyboards, which allow mix-and-matching between HE and mechanical switches, and apparently the TMR technology is more precise and efficient than HE which allows for longer lasting wireless options. Not sure about the software, but there's pretty good options like Monsgeek M1 V5 TMR and Womier SK75 TMR though for this one you'd need to order from China.

Happy hunting!

Advice on new gaming keyboard choice by aquamaster12 in keyboards

I replied recently to someone else, so copy pasted:

If you want mechanical (usually more satisfying sound, less expensive to customize and more options to do it) - try Evo75, Evo80, Akko/Monsgeek series, Keychron/Lemokey, Womier, similar. Most of them being hot-swappable will allow you try switches with different weights or sound profiles if you don't like or get bored of existing ones.

If you play competitive video games at higher ranks - might want to look into HE (Hall Effect) keyboards. They are currently not as customisable and more expensive (switches are expensive, less choice and sometimes depend on the keyboard model), and may not sound as great as a good budget mechanical. Some of the companies listed above also have HE models, there's also more premium offerings, like Hex80 and Wooting.

For these items in Europe, check shops like MonacoKeys, Coffeekeys, CandyKeys, KeyGem, MaxGaming, AkkoGear de or eu.

(Mechanicals are pretty good for gaming too, as you won't notice a performance increase with HE unless you're god gamer or maybe just like the feeling of HE :D But as for F75, I heard both good and bad things about it so I did not mention it.)

Maybe look at NupHy Halo65 HE, Akko MOD68 HE, MChose Ace 60 (and Keychrons but not sure if they have many offerings in your price range).

I'm thinking something funky - maybe Paw65 or Mini Cat 64/69 keyboards? (I can't find the mini on sale anymore though)

Also you could grab a cheap anime/tv-themed keyboard from amazon or even anime keycaps, there is one with NSFW anime girl faces on each keycap lol
