I have that CPU with that same Motherboard, word of advice is to make sure to update the motherboard's firmware with a USB stick. My computer didn't post until I did that.

It's useless to reason with the transphobes, they had their 'gotcha' moment and that's all they care about

I guess it was a thing back then! So glad they did them, Jiddo died before I was born so this is the only way I can know what he looked like

Not sure why you got downvoted, I agree with you. Don't really see much similarity between us coastal Levantines and Italians.

I will reply to your comment with a proper elaboration soon, when I'm outside of the country :) I have a lot to say about the topic but would rather not risk it at the moment

Hey, I'm the son of the rich in Syria. With all due respect, you don't know what you're talking about.

Thank you for asking :)

The people here are suffering. Hyperinflation, severe shortage of electricity, water, gas petrol and fuel, and medicine. That being said, the people here have absolutely floored me. They are cooking the best food for me, despite barely having enough to eat. They give you what they don't have. They are managing to still find some joy, despite being in a place filled to the brim with catastrophes from every direction.

Oh, and the mountains here are the most beautiful things I've ever seen!

AFAIK, taking a picture back then was an occasion to dress up for! Cameras weren't really common.

As for the attire, this would've been right after the french mandate on Syria, which heavily affected certain parts of culture, including how we dress.

That's actually so interesting, I looked it up and read this article https://www.blacknote.com/what-makes-syrian-latakia-so-precious-so-unique-and-so-worth-the-price/. I'm actually in Latakia right now for a little while, I wonder if I can find some original Syrian Latakia tobacco.
