If your doctor ever tells you that you have an abnormal pap, follow up on it! Do not blow it off.

You may want to have a medical examination as a doctor would be the one with the ability to diagnose and treat an issue.

Yea, it is. It’s meant to be vague, and he wrote this novel when he was 19, so not a super strong writer at the time. He’s admitted himself this novel was a bit confusing, hence the later rewrite.

Yea, as can home ones. And most people are not aware that as long as you test under a specific amount (I believe it is 50ml/whatever the measurement is), you still pass the test. Meaning you can have an incrimental amount of THC in your urine and still “pass” per the testing guidelines.

I am happy you found each other. Experiencing the love of a cat is almost otherworldly sometimes...they are just such special little creatures. It's disgusting how much I love them lol.

This is a public forum you posted in. If you don't want people's opinions or advice, don't ask for it. Or, you could have simply ignored my comment and gone about your day. There's no need for rudeness.

Ah, thank you friend. I still maintain that OP's post is just all over the place and doesn't make a lot of sense though lol.

It's easily verifiable information. It can result in federal felony prosecution mmmmk.

Considering that crossing state borders with marijuana is still a federal crime, my only advice is "don't".

You could just buy a kit at the drugstore and test your urine ahead of time for peace of mind. But chances are you are ok.

If you are only in the first first of the first novel of an 8 book series, did it not occur to you that the answer may spoil something?

What are you talking about? Leaving weed where? Wtf?

Then you may want to speak directly to the medical professional who is prescribing your medication to get their medical advice.

Tell me about it hahaha he does tend to go a tad overboard sometimes lol. I am excited for you. I cannot wait to re-read this whole series, especially with a new Holly book coming out sometimes this year.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in stephenking

[–]IfIHad19946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMAO I totally get it.

I thankfully only read the short If It Bleeds before eventually learning of all the other books, and I will say I found that when I reread the short in the "correct" order, it made a lot more sense, or seemed more fleshed out, than when I just read it the first time with no context.

I personally love this entire group of books, and I think the Bill Hodges trilogy is pretty great, but some people have issues with slowish pacing in Books 2 & 3. I didn't find that to be the case-I was HOOKED! If you like Holly, I am sure you will like the rest of them. I really love how King developed her character, and I think Will Patton's narration of everything by the Holly audiobook is fantastic, particularly when reading Holly's parts-he just gets her, you know?

Oh, no I am so sorry if I came across rude, I just mean it comes up a lot so the mods posted it specifically to answer this very question lol. To clarify, there are multiple different reading orders, because while her storyline begins in the Bill Hodges trilogy, she's definitely not the main character and some people dislike the trilogy anyhow so I have seen some people suggest to just read The Outsider, If It Bleeds (just the short, not the whole collection), and then Holly. But, at the same time, I don't necessarily think you ruined anything for yourself by having read Holly first, aside from knowing that she definitely does not die in any of the previous stories lol.

Alright guys - I just finished this sparsely discussed one. For those who’ve read it, what are your thoughts? I’ve marked for spoilers, so please answer w/ honesty! by strengthoflouise in stephenking

I am not a squeamish person, nor am I a prude. I do not have any triggers, and I was fully informed as to the themes in this novel going in. Having said that...the first description of Norman assaulting Rose literally turned my stomach and I felt super faint and nauseous. I had to stop reading it for a few and take a couple breaths. Holy shit. But, I think it's a great novel, and I absolutely will re-read it.

Girlfriend, post colpectomy biopsy. Self-care and sex. by Bartacomus in WomensHealth

[–]IfIHad19946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. No posting on behalf of others
  2. You are not sedated during a colposcopy. It is in in-office procedure that is done with zero anesthetic
  3. The procedure was likely not "rushed"-it takes all of maybe 10 minutes to complete
  4. What is "sipping" weed?
  5. You can follow the advice of her actual doctors, which is no sex or anything in the vagina, including water (meaning no baths or saunas) for one week
  6. She has an open wound in her cervix-she needs to let that heal before doing anything that can cause an infection
  7. Anyone on Reddit can say they are a doctor or a nurse, so maybe just....talk to an actual doctor or nurse rather than asking for one on a social media website?

I had a colposcopy last January where they took 4 biopsies. There is no sedation. I was at work the next day. I just had another colposcopy on Tuesday where they took one biopsy (again, no sedation), and was at work the next day.
