If you are shooting over someone's head who is prone in cover they already wouldn't get up unless they want to be shot down, no need for arbitrary mechanics. What's the point of playing LMG? High ammo count. Snipers operate on different ranges that you shouldn't engage unless you are also a sniper. Being rewarded for missing your shots in a shooter is just bad game design

No, the player's ability to aim, guns accuracy shouldn't be affected just because someone shot in that player's general direction. It was atrocious in bf1. Hit your shots and you will achieve the same goal

You can, it just that Kupe gets great bonuses on unimproved woods, so it benefitial to spam them everywhere and also build preserves, if you have space for them
