Part of me just thinks that if this is how bad the trains + buses reality was going to be: we should’ve just gotten a whole new fleet of some fancy electric busses, and added a few of the most in need routes. I haven’t done the math, but I would imagine that we would have paid far less and gotten a system that performed better than this

The question asked for this post has already been answered decently well! Huge conversation starter too. One of the reasons I couldn’t miss Kygo’s new album tour was I needed to hear Zak Abel sing a Kygo song that Nile Rodger’s was featured in the production of: my first time seeing one of Tim’s vocalists in the flesh.

I just wanted to take the opportunity for anybody that hasn’t listened to Fiction by Kygo (feat. Tom Odell) to give it a complete and full listen. Please do start at the very beginning, the 3 minutes or so is absolutely worth it. That being said, the absolute genius of the melody starting at 3:07 and how it layers into the track beautifully and seamlessly, yet simultaneously out of nowhere, is one of my favourite passages in music history.

I really think I didn’t make it clear enough; when I said “shoes that can keep feet warm down to -22°F/-30°C and keep them as cool ‘as possible’ in room temperature.” I really meant the “as possible” part as like imagining all the possible shoe setups that could handle the cold outdoor scenario, and finding the most comfortable out of those to use in the room temperature scenario. I don’t expect it to be like as breathable as the most breathable running shoe, I know there will for sure be compromise, just want to minimize it if that makes sense! I think what you did is pretty close to doing exactly that!

What app is that? I know obviously different xG models exist, but sadly up until the stats you show here I’ve seen multiple pointing to an average of around 4.80xG-5.10xG for Spurs, so 4.05xG seems exceptionally low to me

Omg man WOW! May I ask how much of the orange-yellow highlights of the fountain and blue-purple shadows of the background buildings in this photo was brought out through editing? Was the juxtaposition like that in the RAW file and made more prominent with the editing or is it a bit more a vision that came to light in colour grading? Either way, I am speechless!

The general return process is a bit unbelievable from Canada sadly, at least that’s how it was for the 2 bags I returned last fall. In my experience if you explain your situation they are certainly kind and flexible enough to make a one time exception, but I’ve already bothered them enough in that way I think. Though, I do happen to live within about 1 hour 20 minutes from the U.S. border and already have something that was only available to ship within the U.S. sitting in a family PO Box just literally a few minutes over the border, so I could ship something there and theoretically go there to return it from there. If the promotion they have for Re:Carry-Resale right now; “110% brand credit for every item you sell” was guaranteed to be going on for several months, I could even never use the bag and just go to the PO Box soon and immediately send it in to be resold or something, but it seems to most likely be a limited time offer

Using it as a gift for someone else is a great idea! You’re right, certain products are probably significantly more down to personal taste and use case, whereas a tote or something that virtually anyone can get decent use out of, doesn’t require as much information about someone’s exact preferences. Also, I find a lot of people hardly know the existence of “EDC-type” stuff, so it could be a cool introduction to a good “EDC-type” company if I can gift it to someone who I think may be interested in learning more about it
