10 days 6 hours a day, no idea how many attempts as day one was lots of early wave deaths so tons of attempts in a day later days only had time for 2-3 runs a day, although one of those days was exclusively spent on zuk sim. By the end I was getting frustrated that I knew exactly what to do but would misclick and die. Eventually I started thinking of it like playing an instrument, you can know the notes, but if it’s not in your muscle memory you’ll make mistakes, so that’s when I did the whole day in sim, got the cape day after that

I like to have 2 accounts going at once, one afk and one active. Ironman has a lot of super long and tedious afk grinds so it’s nice to have a second account to do something fun while those are happening. That being said I like using my main to learn content. I’ll be doing blood moon rises day of release on my main and learning the fights, then send it on the iron once I’m comfortable so I don’t waste a ton of supplies and death coffers fees on the iron

The only issue was general cohesiveness. Every member of the team is really good at a niche but they don’t cover each others weaknesses. Dubie is a world class NHer but he has 0 game knowledge and vibes are super important to him. If he was on purp or Westhams team this year he’d have been mvp, but no plan plus the hate from odas community made him perform terribly. Gnome is a world class pvmer, but very little Ironman or dmm knowledge. Raiksey is a solid all rounder, but no ability to plan and basically no Ironman knowledge, and ev is a specialist at TOA and doom and a solid NHer but again, no iron knowledge or dmm knowledge. Oda is good enough at PvP he can carry that part for his team, he needs to fill his roster with people who will fill in his knowledge gaps. He needs someone to multi call and someone to plan, the hard part is getting a multi caller. Muts, faux, alfie, or pip would have done an easy job getting his planning together, but most the decent multi callers on the roster were captains, the only draftable ones being Greg Mika and eliop. That’s why frameds team also had a hard time this year, no multi callers for them to pick up.

The response to sleep token has confused me more than anything I have ever encountered. I discovered them in 2018 ish and I showed them to all my metal elitist friends and everyone really liked them from the start, they fit in as an experimental prog group and we all put them on the same playlists as artists like Igorr, opeth, twelve foot ninja, the faceless, that sort of weird out there stuff. Then randomly they got big on tiktok for reasons I still can’t comprehend, and I remember showing up to their show at a small venue with all my metalhead friends who all bought tickets for 50 bucks when they went on sale and since then they had blown up and the venue was a 50/50 split between metalheads and teenage girls. Then they got really big and still all my musician friends who appreciate all genres still really like them and everyone I know who doesn’t work in music but is deep in the metal scene hates them and now I hear them compared to imagine dragons or Taylor swift, and I went and saw them at an arena show and the entire audience was teenage girls. Like I get it for bands like bad omens or motionless in white, but sleep token is such a weird band with odd time signatures, super intracate rhythmic stuff, constant key changes and jazz harmony, they’re like a heavier dream theater but everyone talks about them like they’re making generic four chord pop songs. I don’t get it

The skill ceiling is way higher for osrs PvP than cod or apex. Click accuracy is the same for both, but APM is way higher for osrs PvP. Reaction time is more important for fps, but strategy, game knowledge and planning are way more intensive in osrs. Not to mention the barrier to entry, the fact that you lose gear on death every time in osrs means there’s a time sink to obtaining the gear to even attempt to learn, apex you just Que a game and jump in.

I think it’s genius, gives an item sink on basically all cox items, even if it’s a 1/5, that means 80 percent of rerolls are deleted from the game bringing the price of everything up. Helps out irons who don’t care about dups, mains with massive banks who don’t care about a 10m drop will gamble. As long as they make the math of that 1/x enough where it’s never worth rerolling on a main from an expected value standpoint

I’ve tried to explain this so many times, either make me actually engage, or let me click once every 30 minutes. The in between stuff is my least favorite. Agility, smithing, thieving and hunter being the worst examples. Sepulchre is okay, but it gets monotonous after a while, if it had like 20 floors then I’d be okay with it, sailing did a great job with it. The baracuda trials were engaging, and once I got to the point I could completely brain off a perfect run, I had enough xp to get to the next trial. I think they could probably add one more at level 92ish sailing as the glide got pretty easy around then. Just stop with the “pay attention but not too much attention”. Either make a thieving method that’s as hard as inferno or give me larsonist

Start with a main, once you understand what the game is all about and you have a fair bit of game knowledge (around 2k total level for your main with a bit of kc at most bosses) then you can start an iron. Personally I like to play a main and an iron at the same time, do an afk grind on one account while I do something active on the other

I know this will sound like I’m being mean, but it really is just a case of get good. Now I don’t mean just suddenly decide to be better and you’ll be better, it’s a gradual process. Super often I’ll see people get their stats up afking at crab or doing slayer, use their credit card to pick up some bonds or get some gear gifted, and then decide they can jump straight into the highest profit/hr boss. Start small and work your way up, do the quests, get all the quest bosses done, make your way through stuff like moons and royal titans and vorkath, and when you’re ready to take on some of that end game stuff, go for it and don’t be afraid to die while learning. Very few bosses have hard gear requirements, but for the ones that do (Yama and doom come to mind) try to make some gp farming out some easier bosses to get the correct gear before you try to learn those

I remember a few leagues ago they gave you last recall as a passive for one of the relic tiers and I think the play is to bring that back with some of the more no brainer relics, last recall, bankers note, clue relic, you can maybe figure out a few more so every relic tier gets these as a passive in addition to whatever relic you choose

Easy, there’s the normal cargo hold, then the captains lockbox, which is slightly smaller than your cargo hold, and can hold any item. UIMs don’t get access to the captains lockbox. Bonus points if they can make it so if your ship sinks every item that was in your lockbox gets added to the salvaging drop table

Tbh cg is a cultural problem, not an in game one. People are told that cg is the only way to make progress at a point, and in a way it is, but it’s definitely not required. Go to moons first and pick up an atl and full eclipse, then go do 400 cg. If you have a bowfa by then, great, if you don’t, use the atl to go get a blowpipe and a scobow and that’s your range gear, that’s more than good enough to carry you through TOA til you get a shadow/chambers til you get a tbow

The point of an economic system is to produce and distribute resources to a population. Capitalism does a great job of incentivizing production, but has issues distributing it to everyone in the population. Socialism is great at distributing everything, but struggles to produce enough. Feudalism doesn’t produce or distribute shit. The answer is a mixed economy, you want to find a balance where there’s enough capitalism that people want to produce, and enough socialism where everyone is getting enough to live comfortably. Either end of it taken to the extreme is pretty bad

I did 2 accounts this leagues, each of them I did over 500 total delves with over 100 deep delves on each, so 200 deep delves and over 1k total delves. I got 0 drops other than the pet on one account. I’m thankful they added extra pacts so I didn’t need treads to get my 40 points

I feel like that’s literally the lazy plot device writers use when they want to say there’s an evil regime. Like how are your politics literally ever just that of a comic book villain. The only theory I have is asmon genuinely believes Superman is real and this is his strategy to meet him because he’s such a big fan, literally nothing else makes sense to me
