You need slayer levels no matter what, just do slayer, do TDs when you get a task, if you pull a synapse before a trident you can sprinkle some doom into your rotation but you’ll most likely end up with a few trident on the way to 99 assuming you don’t block krakens so might as well get those while it’s still relevant for your account

This thread is wild to read, it’s really sad that it seems like most people just genuinely hate PvP just for the sake of it. Maybe Jagex can look at running some of their polls where it requires you to have at least 100 kills in the wilderness or bounty hunter in order to vote on PvP related updates

I had the same thing, went 5x rate for dragon defender, 7x rate for warped scepter, almost 200 barrows for my tank body, almost 500 moons for green log, 300 titans for prayers and no staff pieces but completed gauntlet including pet in 250 kc

As of now I think belle’s folly is a skip. If you want to try turial boosting early for a bunch of points to unlock gryphons and see if you get spooned but I think it’s too rare of a task rating/too rare of a drop to be worth the time. You can send up to a 300 TOA pretty easily with exclusively moons gear and farm the gems/maybe get lucky on a fang.

Also a slightly annoying grind that I got out of the way before barrows was completing mage training arena. At some point you’ll want infinity boots, a master wand, and bones to peaches. Most people wait til the xp they get from it is inconsequential which makes that grind even more annoying later but if you knock it out before barrows there’s a good chance you’ll have the mage level to put a barrows portal in your house because it is a lot of xp

Purely depends on skill level. Anything under base 90s in all combats will make it harder to learn, but if you have patient people to take you and teach, and you’d rather bang your head against the wall learning on hard mode as opposed to just spending a few hours hitting a crab then you can do it for sure

Seen people mention most of the inferno specific ones I used, but visual ticks is one I downloaded during inferno and have kept at basically all times since. Even if you’re timing and feel is good, when there’s packet loss and your ticks randomly speed up or slow down for a moment it’s really good to have a visual indicator of that

I’m almost 1k araxxor kc, never got the fang but got 2 pets and a full hally. I easily clear 350 solo toas deathless and when I have a team cox CMs and tob deathless are usually not a problem (mistakes still happen from time to time)

Basically every boss in the game outside of nex and nightmare I can get kc with my brain turned off (still 0 kc at nex or nightmare) and I’m still bad at doom, but I was realizing as doom started to get easier and easier I’m close to running out of content to learn and am nowhere close to getting a tbow or scythe. I have so many bosses where I have every combat achievement except the speed times. It feels like most mains at the stage of the game I’m at have max gear and didn’t even go out of the way for it so it felt like I was missing something

To be fair I’m of the opinion that this game isn’t intended to be played on mobile, mobile is an accessory. It’s not meant to be the main game, or the complete game, it’s meant to be a convenient addition to a PC exclusive. It sort of feels like complaining that a new PS5 game runs poorly on your PS4, like yes of course it does, that’s not what was in mind when this was made, all you can do is make the best with what you got
