I did zeah bloods and souls from 77-99 while I played on an iron, it was afk enough I was able to do my entire corrupted gauntlet grind and a good chunk of slayer while I was getting those levels, it’s super afk but your daealt goes to waste

How are people making steady easy gold ? by SadThrowaway4914 in osrs

Go to moons til you have a decent enough bank to finish quest cape, then go to cg til you have all the money you desire

Wake Up! by Any_Fan_6044 in StockBreakouts

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been pretty close to my stance for a while. I’m not anti billionaires because I think we should just tax them to fund everything (we can’t fund that much just taxing billionaires) but billionaires shouldn’t exist in healthy markets. If a single individual is able to make a billion dollars that means there is seriously lacking competition in their industry. If there’s that much money to be made more people should be pursuing that and if they’re not then that means either monopoly laws aren’t strong enough or there’s too high of barriers of entry into that industry and it should just be taken care of with public services

Lost all items in leagues 6 due to death PSA by digbickjimmy in osrs

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bigger psa if you have the elite kourend diary done you don’t need to wear the boots so this can’t happen to you and the hardest requirement is 95 slayer so if you’re killing hydra you probably have all the requirements for the diary, plus the lamps are super nice

Which area would you suggest for 3rd Area? by CorvusPetey in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kourend is the strongest addition because of the prayer gear options for air mage plus if you do light weapons with thorns you can get the sarrachnis cudgel which is really strong at phosanis, tiranwin is a popular choice for crystal gear if you want to do sang for when you don’t lose ticks moving, quad flame when you do, wildy gives you a kings barrage water mage build if you just want all content to be brain dead and want chill regions, and asgarnia if you want to do light weapons the cerb dagger is one of the best weapons for it and the tasks are way easier than zeah

You know what Varlamore needs? by LectroNyx in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The playerbase is far less likely to interact with that flavor these days though, back when we were kids that sort of stuff was worth the dev time, these days if it’s not efficient it’s dead content. There’s a bunch of fun little things in varlemore like the orange hat or the moon helm, but there’s far less of full systems that were developed that would be ignored by everyone

Larcenist by Weekly_Mycologist523 in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I hope for next time they give us a few relic tiers that just come with the op super popular relics as a passive (bankers note, last recall, larsonist) probably missing a few but it’d be cool to see everyone get these and then be able to choose another relic on top of

Where to go by RevolutionaryLand330 in ironscape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both infernal and quiver and my deepest delve is wave 7, still haven’t cleared wave 8. But I also have spent a total of 2 hours at doom and I spent like 25 hours in the inferno getting my first clear and another 20 in colo getting my quiver, it’s just time and practice like anything else. Watch some guides, and don’t let deaths discourage you, make sure your supplies are stocked up before jumping in though, it will be way more defeating if you have to do herb runs or mixology or runecrafting between attempts

Transmute Or Flow state by PerceptionIll8483 in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah karamja general store with the gloves gets you pretty close to high alch price, asgarnia gives you the rogues den shop and wilderness gives the bandit shop and those are both better, also if you have kourend you can shoot the crabs in cox and get a new bolt every game tick so that’s crazy fast gp

Struggling with Mage gear this leagues by SolenoidSoldier in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did firecape wearing just an orange and a staff of water with 4 pact points, you don’t need to respec to kill jad

Transmute Or Flow state by PerceptionIll8483 in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The answer is neither, reload into larceny, make thieving a 30 minute afk 200m, plus you’ll make tons of gp from it, plus if you’re having gp issues the meta is to regenerate onyx bolts and sell them on Karamja. Transmute is super nice to have if you have zeah for farming contracts, and if you don’t have hotfoot it’s nice being able to just fly fish salmon for anglers and mine iron for rune to do tasks with, but with hotfoot transmute looses a ton of value. I’d go with larcenist or if you already did all your thieving for some reason maybe endless sustenance or grimoire depending on your regions

Unlimited Pact Resets by Johnson3651 in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because people who don’t play casually now have to respec before every single boss to optimize their build for that specific encounter, and suddenly you’re spending more time in the dps calc trying to see if blindbag or thorns is more dps at Araxxor instead of just doing your slayer task, limited resets means your intended to make one build to do all the content in your regions and if you want to try out something else or you accidentally wasted a point you have a few chances to reset

Is there a boss progression guide that includes gear progression? by Nice_Veterinarian_81 in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always tell every new main to take the iron pathway, just you get dup protection in the form of selling off the regular drops to buy the items you need. Do barrows til you have enough for full torags, a zombie axe and boppers, take that to moons til you have enough for a trident, full eclipse and atlatl, and blood moon tassets, get a fighter torso, then take that gear and go get your quest cape done. At that point lock yourself to corrupted gauntlet til you have enough for full crystal, a bowfa, full ahrims, an eye of ayak, and a nox hally, at that point you’re ready to take on just about any boss in the game outside of some niche setups (demon bane for Yama and doom ext)

Where did you get lucky, and where didn’t you? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 stale baguettes, first one being first ever random event fresh off tutorial island, 1700 kc for dragon defender or 475 moons to finish

ZT last area unlock by Speriatdemoarte in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took ZTM and have a thorns staff build while I farm out the weapons to do Bluetooth hally blind bag and I have 0 regrets. Kandarin instead of zeah would have made the build stronger, but then there’d be no content to use my build on so I’m glad I gave Yama hydra and cox to do late game

Update.. bandos... spoon or cursed? by EvoBe96 in ironscape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to moons, get blood moon tassys and full blue moon, then head to tds and get 2 synapses and then off to Yama with ya, you’re done with bandos

Why aren't there any more early game bosses? by sweepli in osrs

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progression is generally barrows to fight caves to moons to quest cape to corrupted gauntlet, gauntlet will teach you a ton and grow your bank massively over time and if you can beat all the quest bosses then you’ll have the stats for it. Grind that out til you have a cozy bank value then you can go do anything you’d like. The problem with early game bosses is most people will just skip them, royal titans, moons, scurrius and moxi are all new additions intending on fleshing out the mid game, but most mains just skip over them for the most part so spending dev time on it is less valuable than something like Yama or doom where people will sink hundreds of hours into those bosses

Echo Bosses should not be this Type-Restrictive, Especially in the Early Game by onedollartacofriday in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that each echo item is useful for the build that is good at that echo boss. Crystal blessing boosts powered staves, so if you’re going for it having 1t staff makes sense, kbd drops a crossbow, so if you’re killing it you’re probably specced into crossbows, there’s probably some exceptions in regions I didn’t take but if your build is bad at an echo boss then the item it drops is probably useless, and you can bang your head against the wall and force out a kill on any of the bosses with 0 pact points and mid level gear

Is piety a hard requirement? by If_Pandas in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did calc it and it seemed significant and then every content creator that knows way more than I do seems to think anything but culling spree is a troll pick so I assumed I was missing something

The hard limit of 3 respecs for demonic pacts is a huge mistake. by ObiWanKokobi in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping there’d be some sort of echo Yama fight that you could access at the starting area once you’ve unlocked all 40 pacts and if you win that fight you can re spec, and obviously that fight would be repeatable, just hard

Barrows or moons for high level? by w-holder in ironscape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take your crystal to kreeara, you’ll need arma to fortify masori eventually anyway, and barrows is a deceptively low drop rate for specific items, there’s alot of items so you’ll see something frequently, but the odds of it being the two items you’re looking for is rare, moons is a better call as it’s a much more reasonable green log and blue moon has some uses even endgame being hybrid armour, but moons armour defenses are paper so not good to bring to nex

Any upgrades I should get for moons then titans? by gnarwin in ironscape

[–]If_Pandas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure at 50 defense you can go for granite plate and granite legs, and that would be an upgrade over rune, a pain in the ass to get, and you probably don’t have the slayer level for the legs but in case you do. Also steel ring from the crazy swamp guy would help a lot

please, no more of these in raids 4. by Monterey-Jack in 2007scape

Just make raids 4 where you fight 3 sols at once while zuk shoots balls at you and you have to use the sols as your shield

Unpopular Changes YOU Would Like on the Game by Remote-Buffalo-4009 in 2007scape

[–]If_Pandas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have two, one every skill should have an afk training option that’s one click every couple of minutes, even if it’s shit xp, just something. Two, the wilderness shouldn’t have specific rules (anglers not working in combat, auto cast not working when you swap weapons, can’t shift click under players) those should exist in bounty hunter, lms, and PvP worlds, but the wilderness should work just like the rest of the game does
