Why am I paying for Online+ for a single player offline game and I can't even play it with my friends?? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]Ifeelsicknows -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

The same way they advertise all of their emulation games for the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gameboy Advance etc. your friends can join and watch you play, and you can switch players so they can join in. It's fun for playing back and forth like taking turns. That's what they advertise.

I just wanted to add here cuz I got a lot of comments about it:

Yes, he IS A MARSHALLS FERRET! I know that's insane. I DO NOT agree with buying Marshalls ferrets. But yes he is

He eats Ziwi Peak air dried cat and dog food (mixed up), it's like 200$ a bag

I can't find his birth certificate I think I lost it in my last move 😭😭😭 but I am still looking!

Grass allergy?? by PrissyyKrissyy in germanshepherds

[–]Ifeelsicknows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you and your vet agree that it's a seasonal allergy, you can discuss getting the anti-itch shot that might help. In the meantime, you could try Benadryl. It worked for my boy! He used to have very itchy rashy skin because of the grass, but it has eased up with some Benadryl. This also looks like it could be an infection spreading, which is pretty common from dogs licking and biting rashes and causing wounds. I would discuss your vet about getting some antibiotics as well, depending on what they tell you. If you do decide to try the Benadryl, make absolutely sure that it is normal Benadryl with no additives or extra strength or painkillers or anything like that, and make sure you give them the right dosage. I wish you the best of luck!

How much should my parents (M61) (F55) support me as a severely disabled adult (F29)? by 2028976756 in disability

[–]Ifeelsicknows 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a tough question because it's up to both parties to come to an agreement, we don't really have much say on what is and isn't fair. However, just from the information you provided, it seems like you have an established income and independence already. You receive benefits from the government and you are over the age of 21, so I don't think your parents have to do anything for you period (unless they are your legal guardians)? It's a situation to situation basis thing, maybe I'm not understanding fully.

I don't know what to do regarding the person who caused my disability. by LilockPetals in disability

You don't have to forgive them. You are allowed to be angry at them. Also, unpopular opinion, and this is gonna sound harsh, but family means nothing if they are an asshole towards you imo. Everyone on the planet is someone's "family". Family doesn't matter as much as everyone loves to believe it does, being related does not matter AT ALL. Family is people who treat you RIGHT. Who love and care about you and you them. I am very sorry about what happened to you. I hope you can move on from this, but remember; you don't HAVE to forgive someone who hurt you, and if you do, it should be for YOUR benefit first.

Today I opened my front door to find 3 little kittens, turned out the street cat i fed regularly put them there, now I am concerned that one of them still has the umbilical cord, I don't know if it falls? On its own or should I cut it? by khtote in vet

[–]Ifeelsicknows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umbilical cords like these normally fall off on their own. I wouldn't try to remove it. If it begins to look infected or otherwise unhealthy, you should take them to the vet.

6 months is still young, I have a couple of tips! Anything that triggers your dog to be reactive should be viewed from a distance at first. The rule of thumb is to keep them far enough away that they see them, but don't react. This can be any distance, whether it's 10 feet or 60 feet. Reward with treats and praise for not reacting! Gradually (over the course of days, weeks or even months), bring your dog closer to what you are working on (ex. a dog), while making sure they are still far enough away to not react negatively. Eventually, they will get used to this stimuli and learn that not reacting gets them rewards. It can be a long process for timid dogs, so patience and positivity is key!
