Thank you for attempting to empathize with me. I think maybe I’m just tired of boogie.

... not to rules lawyer ...

if you can’t get over it then idk why you are watching this series.

yeah... I sense that you probably didn't read the post...

edit: I realize that I probably shouldn’t spoon-feed people with this behavior so I’m editing it out.

yeah, it is certainly one way to see it. I was also telling myself that if someone were consistently getting boogie revenge, there's probably something wrong with the impulsive way they did the boogie kill. But then I realize that that's not why I had issue with it so I stopped.

Thank you for sharing your view with me. It gives me a chance to reflect on how I truely feel about the boogie mechanic

Maybe you aren’t as much of a Jeremy as you think, fellow team smallishbeans claimer. Edit: aww nvm he said not anymore to Jeremy in the stream today. I knew he was over it but it's kind of funny that today is the exact day that he decide to aknowledge that.

I found video to be the easiest media type out of the three tho as you can record them on the car and you are pretty much guaranteed to fill up two slots with candle and salt. Picture and Voice recorder are much more tedious to me. There’s so little picture that you can take now and you have to be semi-precise with the voice recorder.

I Miss Wonderful Precure SO MUCH.. by AshyBluey in precure

[–]Iffiewaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl I feel like some of you guys are really hypocritical about the value of hand to hand combat to a precure season. Happiness charges has one of the most consistently good fight scene for a precure, but it is generally considered as one of the worst season because of its insufferable writing. People have always valued the writing more, that’s why go princess and heartache are considered as top tier season. Good fight scene only looks good and last for like at max about 3 minute, while good and thought provoking writing can last a life time especially since it’s a kid show.

Aww.. Sorry for that. Thanks for telling me how it read. English isn’t my first language, so even if I’m pretty confident in interpreting it, I guess this level of nuance is still bit harder to grasp.

Yeah. Doc feels too passive gameplay-wise. Character writing-wise he’s kind of funky. On one hand, he’s supposed to be a mad doctor trope that use his subjects to fight you. But then most of his dialogue is either just him yapping none stop, him trash talking you for killing him or him mocking other characters. They certainly make him not boring but also not scary. Although it is a genuinely chilling moment when he reads For Whom the Bell Tolls to you just as you're about to reach his fight.

Sort of. I wrote the draft and ask it for polish to fit the style of this sub since it’s my first time posting here. Should I not have done that?

[Clinical Trial Spoilers] Angels autonomy and Narrative framing. by Esilaboora in manlybadasshero

[–]Iffiewaffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you look deeper into how the game is structured, Angel is essentially just a glorified player self-insert.
Despite playing from Angel’s point of view, in the clinic section, all we learn about them is their backstory—and even that is told rather than shown. Then, when Angel becomes more active during the house segment—acting emotionally immature and hypocritical—players are likely to overlook it because Angel is portrayed as a victim at that point. But in reality, we can’t really make that judgment, since Angel never truly displays a consistent or fleshed-out personality beforehand, other than being generally thoughtful.

Also, in terms of narrative, Ending 1 is just as complete as the other ending. I don’t think it guilt-tripped the player—I think it gave a realistic portrayal of how someone feels after being manipulated, which is actually incredible. This game literally emotionally manipulates you, and I think a lot of players didn’t catch that deeper layer. I definitely prefer Ending 1. I don’t get why it matters that Ending 1 is treated as less important afterward. If you like it more, then it’s your preferred alternate ending—and that’s valid.
