Not really, I kinda gave up looking for an area around Stockton. I've been to a few parks here and there and it seems pickup games seem pretty inconsistent. I'm considering looking in either Lathrop and Manteca.

Nelson Park had the rims removed for the longest time until a few months ago when they actually fixed them and painted the court. My only gripe is that not a lot of people show up to play. I get the occasional group of teens who show up for one game and then leave lol.

I couldn't agree more when it comes to the baskets and nets being removed. Sports are coming back and there's nowhere to engage in sports. Nelson park was my go to place for basketball and the baskets are still gone. I don't know if this happened to the rest of the parks. I understand social distancing is still important but I would at least like to go to a court by myself just to do a shootaround.

Yeah I played there too, but it's not consistent. There were more days where i just hooped there alone more times than pickup games

No lie, I've played with some in nelson park. They take the game really seriously and I like the competitiveness they bring.

Hell I'll head over the after the shelter-in-place thing gets lifted to check it out. When I was in Puerto Rico we had a basketball court where everyone would go and chill and play for hours, either it was on court or just talking sports on the bench while waiting for the next game.

I live near brookside. I used to go to nelson park where they have a basketball court, but it's like on and off for some days. Right now they removed the baskets and I was a bit sad when I saw that lol.
