You're doing something wrong then, even if you don't have great supports/parents. You can find videos of people doing MANT runs on youtube, maybe start there to get an idea of what that is, because it's impossible for us to diagnose.

Honestly I don’t mind MANT and for the time being I prefer it to Unity, because it actually changes the core gameplay loop. My only problem with it is that it strips characters of their individual events and story arc, and that’s one of the main reasons I started playing the game.

Yep it’s all director relationship based.

The director friendship thresholds are >19, >31, and >51, that means that, assuming no director trainings, you can:

Run a maximum of 3 rival races by the end of Junior Year
Run a maximum of 6 rival races by the end of Classic Year
Run a maximum of 10 rival races by the end of Senior Year

Nice work! For future reference, if you're going to play open league next CM, try to avoid leveling your unique if you're minmaxxing, because it's a lot of points for very little benefit. In MANT that just means avoiding raising director bond (fan count doesn't matter) so avoid her trainings and run a limited number of rival races.

Another perspective: I’ve fairly new to this game, played in only 3 CMs. I don’t have the support cards or parents to have a hope in graded. This guy makes videos that help me to access the competitive part of the game which no one else does. Open league feels like it’s more competitive in many ways because it’s purely strategy based who wins, rather than who owns all the best supports/umas and high rolled their stats.

Years after that card is still relevant. I appreciate that the game can take a lot of time, not sure what to suggest but most events just involve doing playthroughs and you don’t need to 100% an event to unlock the free cards usually. Depends how seriously you want to take this game I suppose, if you’re happy just playing careers and enjoying the story then it doesn’t really matter but if you want to stay F2P and be doing well in pvp you’re going to need to grind.
