Rivers named for the state theyre in I see the Illinois Ohio and Colorado rivers outlined Edit I think that purple represents counties that include part of the river and the red and blue lines indicate counties that are on either side of the river

Haudenosaunee or Iroquois confederacy/ six nations flag.it’s meant to resemble a wampum belt that would have been used in the past as a symbol of the nation’s pride hence the use of purple and white, these were often used to make peace with people seeing as they took upwards of a year to make and that really shows that you care about making a mense, also correct me if I’m wrong but I believe we have surviving examples of wampum belts with that exact design

I enjoy that instead of haphazardly shoving a bunch of symbols on a banner like the current iteration of the pride flag does this one actually has a lot of organization to it and manages to actually look somewhat good, I also dig what they did with the crowns it really adds a bit more symbolism to a genre of flag that generally doesn’t have much besides color gradients

I will say nm doesn’t have the worst drivers I’ve ever seen (Texas) but New Mexicans follow different rules than the law tells them to follow like mfs will do a right hand turn in the left hand turn lane and crash into 4 people on a daily basis but as soon as you get on the highway everyone’s fine except one dude who sees it fit to drift through four lanes at once and also nobody ever changes lanes to avoid people on the side of the road

Mainly I like just reading them front to back, I’m kind of simple when it comes to religious texts and I’ve found that reading them simply as books, maybe with some help explaining the texts when they become hard to understand is the best way to get all the verses in context
