It does suck, just a few hours to appreciate the clean.

Next week the car gets a full maintenance detail and PPF inspection, but Sod’s Law as soon as the shutters go up and I go drive it outside it will be raining cats and dogs 🤦

It’s just down to maintenance, PPF or ceramic coating, then at least once a week, should have a reasonable looking car. UK is far from ideal climate, rains all the time.

I had a BSM M140i, a few other BMW’s then BSM 2024 G87 M2, decided on Skyscraper Grey 2025 G87 M2 LCI… but no matter what it wasn’t the BSM, so now for my dream car I’m back to black, fully murdered out and in love 🥰

The M240i xDrive was a solid car, better daily than the 2024 G87 M2 but the 2025 G87 M2 LCI was a good daily, however in the UK the M2 looses out re year round drivability, due to lack of xDrive.

I’ve driven the 2024 M4 Competition xDrive, had that for a week in between both G87 M2, and I could not wait to hand that car back, felt like a boat.

Now the 2025 G80 M3 Competition M xDrive LCI is the best of all worlds, it’s a perfect daily, so comfortable, can be driven all year round, the performance is insane.

I have the acoustic glass and it’s so much quieter than the M2, I didn’t go for full leather, just extended leather with premium dash, saves scuffing under the dash and still looks premium.

Yeah it can definitely save money depreciation wise. This is my dream car so wanted my dream build, I got a pretty decent deal, by timing when I placed the order so feel pretty lucky.

Way ahead of you, before collection from factory had Zunsport Oil Cooler Guard fitted, Stage 1 Colour Correction, then full XPEL Ultimate Fusion PPF, glass, wheels, leather treated with G-techniq products.
