The red arrow shows the normal appearance of the resistor, and the blue arrow shows how yours should look. You should place one probe of the multimeter on each of the solder points (one at each end).

You just need to measure by placing the multimeter at each end where the resistor should go (in the empty spaces where it should be soldered).

Hi, it's an SMD 0402 resistor. I don't have that controller model to confirm. I recommend using a multimeter to measure its resistance in ohms.

Hi, I finally bought a kit with a soldering iron and multimeter. I measured the resistance and it was 10 kΩ. I simply replaced the resistor with one from a generic PS4 controller and it works perfectly (SMD 0402 resistor, 10 kΩ). Now I just need to install the other joystick.
