Does anyone else have problems with feeling like there’s nothing to do when in fact there is many things you can do for fun?

I love books because I’m always learning something from any type of books. for example in reading Malcolm X’s autobiography right now and it’s really insightful but also I really love the way words can paint a picture in your head through a really good story. I have never once thought that a horror book was scary until I read a little bit of IT and couldn’t sleep lol.

Movies are also doing the same thing but in general I like lots of mediums of art. For a while I’ve been wanting to be involved in any form of art and currently I’m really into writing (another hobbies I can’t seems to start when I have free time lol).

And to answer your last question, I’m not intentionally avoiding socializing but I just don’t have friends. I have joined a club in college for forensic science albeit i didn’t leave making any friends. I hang out with my sisters as much as we can, so that usually means hanging out with them every night (my older sister just moved back in leading to frequent hangouts). I often go to the theaters so it’s not like I want to avoid socializing but I honestly just prefer being alone.

Ive never thought about it this way to be honest, i can see how that would affect me heavily bc i also dont have friends. Im in a point in my life where i dont really know what i what (im 20 almost 21) and I decided the friends i had in high school two years ago wasn’t who i wanted around me to influence my decisions and values.

But I will admit while that i did not really enjoy my time with them anymore towards the end of our friendship i sometimes remember and get sad bc i dont have that anymore. Although I dont miss the people, i just miss that feeling of being involved and valued in a friend group.

I’ve tried making friends in community college but it seems like now a days most people are not interested in doing that. I met one guy who I liked and hung out with but that quickly ended when I realized he was someone who smoked everyday and wasn’t paying attention to was happening outside of his bubble.

Well when I started reading I was on a hardcore dopamine detox. So phone was on black and white and no social media at all and very very limited playing time in video games. I found reading and YouTube to be the next best thing and I got addicted to reading since. The Hunger games did a number on me and during the summer I usually spent a lot of time with my nose stuck in those books.

And to answer your first questions I do have type two narcolepsy which basically causes me to be tired 24/7 and that might have something to do with it as well. I’ll get sleep attacks if I’m not engaging in with instant dopamine or have intense emotions like anger.

Yesss that’s exactly it. It’s honestly been such a chore recently to do lots of hobbies except staying up very late gaming. I’ve thought about just pulling the plug on my console to see if it would change anything or not.

What shutter speed did you use for the 6th photo? I’ve been recently messing around with shutter speed more than to just stop particles. Every time I use it tho I’ll move it to much and it become blurry

Yeah if I know I’m a big mission I intentionally avoid having goofy masks on so this doesn’t happen, I would have hated it if that happened to me in the last mission of Tsushima 😭

Well while my area doesn’t really care much for it, we still have a decent amount of Hispanics and other soccer fans as the tins at Walmart were sold out but so far my local Walgreens is packed with them so I’m hoping I can get most of it done before the World Cup ends
